Hi, We are disappointed that you had such an underwhelming stay at our resort. We have noted your comments and have recently invested in improving our signage to make us easier to find. The power cuts are unfortunately completely out of our hands, and would have impacted every business around us, in the last month a new power cable has been laid from Samui which will improve the supply to the island. We generally only play music after 11pm during the Full Moon period when the level of guests warrants it. (In the last two months due to cancelled parties on the island we have been forced to provide our own entertainment for our guests, the majority of whom do come here to party) We market ourselves as a budget backpackers, and as such only offer free wifi around the pool and in our other public areas, and do not claim anywhere to provide wifi in our rooms. (A decision we have made to encourage guests to come out of their rooms and socialise!) As for the mosquitos, this is Thailand, unfortunately they are everywhere, but our staff would have been happy to replace any torn mosquito nets. From all at the Beach Village we wish you safe onward travel and would look forward to welcoming you back during outside of the busy Full Moon period.

Thank you for your review, We really appreciate your feedback. In relation to some of the issues you mentioned in your review, None of these were brought to our attention during your stay. If they had they could have been very easily resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The room that you booked is one of our most basic rooms and the website does show that these are bamboo bungalows. We apologize that the light in your room did not work on your arrival. This was quickly resolved by our maintenance staff. Given the nature of the climate on the island we can get insects in the room from time to time.Again if this was brought to our attention during your stay the issue could have been easily resolved by our housekeeping staff. The resort does offer a daily cleaning service. Each guest is advised on check in that this needs to be requested each day, If it is not requested we presume that you do not want to be disturbed at your room. The website does say that their is free WIFI at the resort, This is only available in common areas, We apologize if this is not stated more clearly on the website and we will look into extending this to the rooms in the future. We do apologize if the beach may have been untidy during your stay. The tide can sometimes leave some natural debris behind. We do have our maintenance staff clean this daily and the beach is now looking beautiful again. Thank you for your positive feedback about our staff, We will make sure that this is passed on.
