"The present Century House is a very dated hotel, I think they are replacing it with a new one doen the street, however what they lack in decor they surpass in hospitality. Everyone from the reception desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here overnight for our son's graduation from RPI. I refused to be price gagged by the ridiculous prices, and required multiple day stay, at the hotels in Troy. This place is an easy 10 min. drive to the college. The breakfast was ok but we didn't have time to eat out because we had to leave by 6:45a.m."

"This is an excellent hotel with good, large rooms. Everything looked new and updated (room, bathroom). The lobby is large and is a good place to relax if you simply want some "down time" and do not want to sit in the room looking at the TV screen. The breakfast was excellent - waffles, eggs, meat (sausages one day, bacon the next), hot oatmeal, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. All staff (front desk and breakfast area) was very freindly and outgoing. Overall, a very pleasant stay!"

"This hotel is very nice and would have had a 5 star review except the Friday night bartender gave us the bums rush out of the lounge at about 10pm. It was also immediately after selling us two $22 glasses of wine. He turned the TVs off on us."

"I liked that it is close to downtown Saratoga Springs. I did not like that my check in took very long because an employee registered another guest under my reservation. Ugh! I did not like that the room refrigerator did not work very well, and I really did not like that the curtains did NOT cover the entire window sill letting light in throughout the night and in the morning. I doubt I would stay here again."

"The good: Friendly, helpful staff, clean room with balcony. Outback Steak House across the street. Pool and hot tub looked good but we did not use either. The not so good: Room did not lock, if you left the room it was open. We felt safe there so no worries and I have a concealed carry permit, but still... TV didn't work but I fixed it, it was unplugged at the TV??? Once it refreshed it worked fine. Breakfast room was a disaster, coffee machine did not work as it needed cleaning according to the machine itself. Orange juice on the juice machine, one worked the other didn't mix the juice. They do have coffee at the lobby 24/7, one pot cold, the other was fine. Despite all that it was a pleasant enough stay."
