An added bonus was that it is the historical home where Napoleon III grew up. Close to Konstanz, Rheinfall, and other locations. Or you can just relax and walk the paths on the property. As seems to be the case at all Swiss hotels, the staff were extremely helpful. "

"Large old building in fantastic location. The house is a bit institutional. The corridors seem old but the room we had was very nice and resently updated. Elegant bathroom. All necessary amenities were in the room. The terrasse on the lake is fantastic, but was unfortunately closed due to the weather. Breakfast was really good. "

"Our stay was short but very nice. The kind woman at the front desk was beyond helpful. We had asked if the hotel had a luggage scale. Unfortunately they did not. But in an unexpected gesture a phone call was made to a friend, who then brought a scale for our use from her home. This was customer service above and beyond!!"
