Fine if your traveling through.
After booking, we messaged we were looking forward, no response. Then we would have rated it higher except for issues. The refrigerator wasn’t filthy but obviously hadn’t been cleaned and trash lid was dirty. The patio table and chairs also needed to be cleaned to use. The upstairs tub had an old used piece of mushy bar soap lying on the floor. Under the provided shampoo and liquid soaps was dirty. Baseboard in bedroom by electric plug in was filthy with dust. Worst, the upstairs house ac doesn’t cool the bedroom. The provided portable fan/ac, was absolutely filthy with dust globs. We couldn’t use it the first night, it was late. The next day I spent over a half hour cleaning it so we could sleep comfortably that night. I’m not super picky, but these details really matter. The rest of the cleaning was fine. Aside from all of that, beds were comfortable, furniture fine. Weird living room lighting only ceiling. Very small living area. The photos make it look larger. Fine for our small group Running Y doesn’t seem like a vacation spot, more of a suburb. No privacy on the deck, neighbors are close. Honestly probably the best you’ll get for the area, vacation rentals are limited. The restaurant is beautiful, but service was very slow. They didn’t honor our reservation, we had to wait a long time. The people next to us had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for their dessert. Plus it was a guys birthday! I wouldn’t stay again because these details really matter.

Anonymous, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We take cleanliness very seriously and we have advised the cleaners how we expect the home to be when our guests arrive. They ensured me that everything was clean and 100% guest-ready, the only thing that could have been dirty was possibly the fan. - We do not have a tub upstairs. - We do not provide bar soap at the house, this is not sanitary. - We're sorry about the outdoor furniture, but it does get windy and we do keep it clean. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

A little gem!
Great place for kids with pool, volleyball courts, tennis/pickle ball, ping pong, miniature golf etc. Dining and small market on site and quiet little resort with many amenities! Perfect for our getaway!

Great house and property
The house was perfect for our whole family to enjoy time together and lots of space for moments apart. Great kitchen set up, laundry and game room. In addition, the property itself was nice with walking/bike paths, in door pool, park, etc. We would love to stay again if in the area.

Beautiful location with plenty to do.
We hiked around the Running Y, but did not have time to utilize all of the amenities on the property (pickle ball, golf, swimming, etc.) Had a delicious breakfast at the resort restaurant dining outside with beautiful views. Kim, the manager, responded quickly and the property itself had a view of the forest and lake. Will definitely return.

Great place for our family reunion!
This house was ideal in almost every way for our get together with family. Klamath is a “midway” point for all of us which was one of the primary reasons for the choice of location. We had 6 adults and a 9 year old Labrador and had plenty of space for all. We enjoyed the Easter brunch on site, walks on all the paved pathways, swimming, sauna and especially the mini golf course! The only downside was the 30 degree drop in temperature mid-way through our week, but the house was comfortable enough even though a little bit of cabin fever occurred. This house was very well appointed and we made good use of the gas BBQ on the deck, even though it was snowing on my brother-in-aw as he grilled! The market at the lodge is incredibly thoughtfully stocked, only really lacking in fresh meat and produce. Fred Meyer in town accommodated us for those items. If you have the interest in exploring, take a 20 minute drive over to “Lake of the Woods” for a snack and a drink at their lakeside restaurant. We had a lovely time and are considering a return next year or the year after! But perhaps, a little later in the year to get more consistent outdoor weather.

Serene Oasis with the comforts of home
We had the most amazing time thanks to the beautiful backdrop, cozy home and attention to detail throughout the place. Kim was our local contact and very helpful/kind/thoughtful. Perfect family time and the dogs has a blast too! We hated to leave and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect place to stay in and go out!
Sue was super responsive as we planned out our trip! We were there to visit family in Chiloquin and see Crater Lake and the Lava Beds National Monument. The house had everything we needed and the Running Y had impressive restaurants, along with a fun playground and indoor pool that our son loved! Stayed here with my family during a hockey tournament. VBRO made things easy, but the proactive communication from both the management company and owners was top notch. Loved getting the little welcome message from the owners. The house was great! Super warm, clean, spacious. The living room area was my favorite part with the warm fireplace. They provided Kurig coffee, all the dish ware and glasses you need, popcorn, smart TV’s, comfy furniture. So great. Bed downstairs was VERY soft, which wasn’t for me. The hot water also didn’t seem to last very long either. The wine bottle on the counter was also spoiled. These were just minor inconveniences. Overall, very happy with the house and all the amenities. Would definitely come back.

Weekend Getaway with Daughter
This was our first visit to the Running Y and we met our daughter and her boys there. The property was as described and we had a great time. The pool area was perfect for two little guys and they had the best time.

Crater Lake Family Visit
The property is in quiet forest setting with deer, squirrels, and birds. Very relaxing place with comfortable seating and beds. We loved the rear deck view. Lots of natural light. The home had a well-appointed kitchen and all the amenities we needed for a pleasant short vacation to explore the Klamath Falls area. The home is in a resort with a wide range of all season recreational facilities. We used the pool, hot tub, sauna, and arcade. There was also golf, tennis, basketball, ice skating rink and playground facilities as well as many paved walking/running trails. Crater Lake was about an hour away . Rogue River whitewater rafting was about two hours away. A fun zip line course was about 30 minutes away. Ashland was also about 2.5 hours away. Beautiful forest and farmland scenery characterized this rural setting with snow-capped mountains in July. The hosts provided a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. It was a lovely home base for a family vacation.

Comfy comfy comfy!
This property was very beautiful, quiet and accommodating. The kitchen was equipped with every thing we needed and more. The beds were super comfortable. Deer visited in the early morning and it was only an hour from most attractions. Our host was very friendly and answered our may calls immediately. We had a great stay and you will too… thank you 😊

Pros: indoor pool, gym (under 16 must have adult, no kids under 14 allowed), pool table ($1/game), playground, pets allowed, convenient parking, kind staff at sports center, friendly neighbors, many pedestrian friendly paths and woods. Cons: No window covering on upper master window so awake with daylight, not super clean (shower dusty, cabinets sticky), no secondary lock on either door

Great Location
Booked for my family to stay close to my son while he was working in the area. It was a bit warm to enjoy the ice rink but it is a full sheet of ice and would definitely be fun, we enjoyed the sports center pool and hot tub. The lodge was decorated for Christmas and just beautiful. The house was very comfortable and we had wildlife visitors every day, it was beautiful watching them. Felt very private.

Excellent Thanksgiving week stay
The Running Y is a nice area and the unit itself was just as advertised. Love the big windows and spacious deck out back. Beds were comfy, water pressure was solid with plenty of hot water, internet access was fast and smart TV's worked just fine for Netflix/Amazon/etc. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for eating and the small convenience store located on the property, close to the entrance, had a nice selection of foods as well as wine and spirits. Checking in and out was super easy and appreciated the bottle of wine upon our arrival. Definitely one of the nicer properties that is pet friendly.* (*that being said, if you do bring your pup(s) please keep the place tidy as it is sometimes harder to find nicer places like this one that accept pets so don't ruin it for all of us, LOL)
