"We had a delightful stay at this cozy cottage. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms convenient. The kitchen worked well and the living space was relaxing. From the deck on the roof, one can see the ocean. It was a block and a half walk to the beach. At this time of year (late December) the beach was nearly empty and our dogs had a great time on the beach, as did we-including some fabulous sunrises. It was also a very short drive to grocery shops and great restaurants and an easy drive to Roanoke Island and Corolla. We definitely look forward to staying here again. "

"Everytime i come to check in at Welcome Center its always one customer service representative friendly and one thats not friendly thistime the young man who Checked me in very friendly and made me feel very welcome the lady working with him when I spoke to her didn't acknowledge me or speak back same thing when I checked out the lady was very very friendly and thanked me for staying at Beechwoods the guy standing beside her i spoke too didn't speak back or acknowledge me. I felt like the people who didnt speak back didn't like Afro Americans "
