Great location
- location is outstanding
- beds are good and comfortable
- House is in rough shape. While one can understand the nature of an older home and the quirks which come along with it, neglect is another matter.
- Window unit ACs which are not visible in pictures and while they bring welcome relief, they’re not sealed properly and allow a significant number of bugs into the rooms when a light is on
- broken beach chairs and other debris are laying around the exterior of the house
- Mold and dust visible in multiple areas
- Bathrooms- whew. One is not available for sitting as it is too close to the bathtub and also has a window AC unit next to it, which contains a plug but there’s no outlet visible for it to be plugged into???
Pro tip: close the primary bathroom closet door as it gets very hot and wastes the AC, only open it when necessary. Makes a big difference.
We are very understanding people but the condition of the house compared to the condition in the photos do not match. It’s a good little house with excellent beach access, just know it’s not quite as charming as the photos depict. Something others have stated in their reviews also.
