Great stay. Lots of room. Recommend bringing a blow up bed for extra guests as the hallway has enough room to set up. Apartment was clean, any issues we had were quickly dealt with.

Comfortable and convenient, easy walk to university and public transport; plenty of space in the apartment. Cluttered kitchen with cupboards stuffed full of gadgets some of which did not fully work. Appreciated having a washer/dryer available.

The apartment is just across LH (Business School) of the Wilfrid Laurier University, so the location was very convenient, There is a balcony, secure entrance, full kitchen with all the amenities, washer and drier. The manager was very responsive to all the requests.

We never got the code to get in the place! I don’t know what it was like. We had to scramble to find other accommodations. Now,I have to try to get my deposit back.

I feel awful because I never write bad reviews and I know the host was suffering from a recent car crash so I feel bad. Our check in was delayed 2.5 hours, we did not have enough towels for everyone, and could not find a wifi password. There is totally a chance that this is a one off but just being honest.

This property is reasonably priced and well located with easy access to Laurier and Waterloo campuses. I had excellent communication with the host prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, the key was not in the lockbox when we arrived. After a call, she sent someone to bring us the key, which we received 15 minutes after check-in time. The apartment itself was well laid out with two separate bedrooms and two washrooms, divided by a living space. The kitchen was functional, with all the appliances we would need to cook meals and make coffee. However, the place was not very clean. The fridge and microwave had food debris in them; one bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor; a light blanket on one bed was badly stained; and the cutlery and dishes were sticky. There were no pans, and one of the 3 pots was a badly burnt camping pot. The mattresses on the beds were the old coil type and very uncomfortable. Finally, the lock on the door was broken, so it took multiple attempts to lock it each time we left the apartment. We're used to staying at places that are not fancy, so we made the best of it. We cleaned as we went, added blankets to increase the comfort level of the beds, and had a great time in the city. If you want to save money and don't mind staying in what is clearly student housing—with a bit of grime and images of Drake popping up in unexpected places—this is the place for you!

The apartment was clean. It was a challenge to get the fob to enter the apartment. The temperature was set to 20 C, and it was very cold during the night. When I contacted the host, she tried to address it, but the temperature went back to 20 C and stayed there the whole time. There were no amenities except a small amount of toilet paper in each bathroom and no spares. There was no soap and no shampoo. The whole atmosphere of the apartment was cold. There was nothing to create a warm atmosphere. I told the host that only one person arrived because the second person was bumped off three Air Canada flights and was not able to make it to Toronto. At the end, I emailed the host twice to say the person staying in the apartment was not staying for the fourth night because of the situation with the heat in the apartment, but the host did not respond. I resent the email, but the host did not respond. So I texted the host, and the host did not respond, so I contacted VRBO. The whole experience was not a pleasant one.
