"Not very close to train station and on a hill so we took a taxi (800JPY). But Kawagoe (desk clerk) was very helpful. She printed a bus schedule for going to and returning from Fukiware Falls from the hotel so we did not have to go to the train station until we departed. 100 yen store and convenience store within walking distance of hotel."

We did not need housekeeping for the first night and put up a "do not disturb" sign, and the hotel even rewarded us with a coupon which we used at the izakaya next to the hotel.
