Beautifully situated right on the harbour the Long Quay it’s a beautiful Boutique hotel with a charming breakfast and great customer service! Walking distance to everything you would like to see in Kinsale as well as great dining.
This is a historic building in the centre of Kinsale. We were very pleased with the extremely large room on the ground floor. Breakfast was also very good. Peter, the host and owner, was very accommodating and helpful. He shared some interesting family history with us including about the establishment.
Restaurants, pubs and stores are literally just down the street. Parking can be scarce when the tour buses are in town but you will find something (the lot across the street is free from 6pm until 1030 am). The town settles down in the evening. I highly recommend the Long Quay If you like old style B&B.
Very communicative prior to the stay with all of our questions.
There's street and regular parking very close to the property that you pay for and it's free on Sundays. Room we had was very spacious and clean! We went during the heatwave and there was no AC but luckily there was a fan for us to use at night. Water pressure of the shower was also great with shampoo and body wash.
Great view of the water and unique tide that comes in everyday. Also in perfect walking distance of all the shops and pubs. Also a good spot to walk to the two different forts in Kinsale.
The location was excellent, right across from the harbour and walking distance to everything . It was super hot When we stayed there, but the fan and lots of windows really helped.
Even though we were disappointed to find out that the property had no parking and no lift, Peter was really helpful in pointing out that parking across the street was free from 6 PM till the morning, and he helped us carry all our luggage up the stairs. The complementary Breakfast was fabulous., both the service and the food!
Very nice family owned B&B in charming Kinsale. Large room, well furnished, quiet even with windows open a bit. Easy walk to good restaurants and pubs.
This is a great place to stay. It's very clean, has spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, and very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. You can tell it's a family owned business as they take great pride in the quality of their business and the services they provide. We'd happily stay there again and recommend it to others!
Well kept room and comfortable bed. Owner and staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is in town with a parking lot across the street. The breakfast was fantastic - my favorite on our Ireland trip!
