"We stayed here just one night before our Ben Nevis trip and that hotel is the best start point. Personnel were friendly and helpful. After many trips we appreciated the dryer room, where you can clean and dry your clothes. "

"As hostels go, it was fine. Plenty of space, a decent kitchen and dining area separate from a seating area. 20mins bus ride from town or £8.40 in a taxi isn’t ideal nor is the lack of a drying room. This last one would think a prerequisite given the location and clientele but apparently not."

"The accommodation is over priced for what you get. There were hairs and black pubic hair in the bed when I pulled back the duvet - something I wasn’t expecting to see. The bedding is poor quality; the pillows are flat micro fibre, duvet thin micro fibre and the mattress cover is thin almost see through, the mattress is poor quality too. When I took a shower the ON handle came off in my hand and the shower tray filled to the top over flowing into the bathroom, the plug was blocked with hair -...

"We had a wonderful time exploring Oban. We had tickets to ride the Jacobite Express train, but it was cancelled. We think we enjoyed Oban even more!"

"A well equipped, large 2 bedroom apartment. Ample parking. Easy to find. Central Fort William is not on the doorstep, but still walkable. Good internet. Only one downside, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is the beds. I don't know how old the mattresses are, but they are kind of lumpy and I left a body shaped dent in mine when I got up (and I'm not a large person) - they need replacing. The double bed is also rather short - I am 5' 9" and my feet kept touching the base board - someone...
