I think the best part was having two well-stocked kitchens. We also loved its convenience to Crystal Mountain and Arcadia Bluffs."

"We really enjoyed Betsie River Cabin, it was everything it advertised and more, we used the canoe and also kayaked the river. It was great to launch from the property! We had great campfires and played ping pong, the hot tub was great after a day on the river. The hosts are very gracious and thought of everything. We will probably return sometime!"

"Easy to find and check in. Had everything we needed to have a cozy Spring weekend. Just the right amount of space. No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. "Found this cabin last minute for memorial weekend and our family decided we had to try it out. This cabin did not disappoint! Every part of the cabin was gorgeous. we were a group of 12, 7 adults 5 kids and had plenty of space. kids loved the basement game room and the loft to play. they loved the creek and found tons of frogs turtles and other wildlife. "My family stayed in the dome to fulfill a dream of my husbands! It was a fun and different experience, the ultimate glamping experience. The location is remote but also very close to so many great places, you are within an hour of Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear, Old Mission Peninsula, and all the Traverse has to offer. The Dome had a nice kitchen and bathroom area and was more than comfortable for the whole family! It’s absolutely worth the experience!"

"Older cabins, small but comfortable with everything we needed. All was in working condition. It had air conditioning which we actually needed for the few days of 90+. The owner was fantastic to deal with, all camp rules clearly defined and nothing crazy. We have already made plans to come back. Highly recommend."

"We had a great stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house. We were very comfortable, everyone slept well. The kids were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lighter to get the fireplace going but that didn’t affect our fun, only mentioning that because some people may be very disappointed if that were to happen. "We loved staying here! The cabins were clean and also had extra blankets, towels, toilet paper, etc. The kitchen had the basic necessities that you would want or need for camping. The lake is perfect for your kids as it is shallow and kind of blocked off by the docks and boat hoists. The kayaks were a fun addition to use as well. The owner, Becky, was so sweet and kind!
