We chose this property specifically because of the hot tub, so that was a disappointment. During our stay, the hot tub never got very warm and the chlorine level seemed very strong to the point that it burned our eyes just sitting there. There were also some cleanliness and maintenance issues, including cobwebs on the ceiling, dust on trays, and multiple burned-out light bulbs. Also important to note the property isnโ€™t very secluded, considerable traffic noise from the highway. For us, since it was only a two-day stay, we didnโ€™t want to spend part of the trip arranging maintenance visits for issues we expected would already be taken care of before arrival. Communication was polite and they thanked us for the feedback, but overall the stay didnโ€™t match our expectations for the price and amenities.

Cabin was super clean and very well decorated. Landscaping was well maintained and looked beautiful by the lake. Host let us check in early since we were in the area which was very kind of them! Quiet area, a little noise from the main road but nothing crazy or too noticeable. Hot tub was great, perfect temperature and clean. Plenty of blankets and towels for guests. Would absolutely stay here again, short drive to traverse city which is what we came for. Host was also very quick with response time.
