  • Located in the heart of the village of Heacham, near the popular holiday resort of Hunstanton our cosy, full of character, modern 3 bedroom cottage with secure and private south facing garden, garage and parking space, provides the perfect setting to explore the west facing beaches of the stunning North Norfolk coastline recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Whether your interests are watching wildlife, walking and cycling or enjoying the unspoilt countryside and safe local beaches, Carpenter’s Cottage provides quality, comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Using contemporary furnishings throughout the property is caringly presented to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
    The cosy sitting room, with its log burner, tv and powerful internet wifi service comfortably seats 5 adults. Whilst the well equipped kitchen/dining area fully supports all self catering needs. The two double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom are furnished with high quality beds, mattresses and bedding. Upstairs is also the family shower room with a separate cloakroom on the ground floor. Towels and quality toiletries are provided for all guests along with kitchen and bathroom necessities.
    A detailed personal service is provided throughout from initial enquiry through to arrival when you will find a welcome basket of essentials including free range eggs from our own garden chickens.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Nice welcome basket too. We didn’t have a car this time and the bus stop is right outside the property. Tescos is a couple of minutes walk and a lovely coffee shop the same distance away (Breakfast and Brownies). We would definitely stay here again! Thanks

Teresa was warm and welcoming, just absolutely lovely. The property was clean and cosy. Felt like a home away from home. Well stocked kitchen, and with two kids, the washing machine was handy. Literally a home from home, Teresa went out her way contacting me before and at the end of the trip, she could not have been more helpfull and accomodating, welcome giftsd on arrival were an unexpected bonus, beds and bedding were extremelly comfortable, everything you could ask for and more supoplied in the house, great location too.

I have stayed at many cottages but this has to be my favourite so far. So cosy with everything we could possibly need. Teresa could not have been more helpful and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. The coastal buses passing the door was wonderful especially as my elderly Mum had her 96th Birthday the day we went. Hope to go back again next yr.

Excellent holiday cottage!

Had a lovely week in this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. Directions and check in were very easy and communications with Teresa was very efficient and friendly. There was everything you would need for a holiday stay, the beds were comfy and everywhere was very clean and tidy. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. Nice pub within walking distance and the fish and chip shop round the corner was excellent! There was an Indian restaurant/takeaway too but we didn't get to try it. There were bus stops very nearby which would take you to Hunstanton and beyond and to Kings Lynn. Would definitely recommend and would happily book again.

A Perfect Stay in Carpenter’s Cottage

We had the best experience from start to finish staying in this lovely cottage. The accommodation literally had everything we needed and more. Games for the kiddies, wood for the log burner, lots of lovely toiletries, a packed welcome pack full of goodies and much more. The lovely owner could not have been nicer; nothing was too much trouble. We really didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back again and we can’t wait.

Fantastic stay at Heacham

We had a fantastic stay at Carpenters cottage in Heacham. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with a generous welcome basket provided by the host. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We had two lovely meals at the Rose and Crown in Snettisham (a short 6 minute drive) and at The West Norfolk within walking distance. The host couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful cottage.

Carpenter’s Cottage

Our holiday on the English coast of Norfolk was superb. Not only did we have fantastic weather for the two weeks but the cottage we stayed in was Just what we needed for a family with three young children. Our host had prepared rooms for the oldest ones and a cot for our baby, a welcoming basket and all the information we could need to enjoy the surroundings. Thank you!

We had such a lovely time in the Carpenter's Cottage during our late October stay. It seemed to be made for us five. It was warm, cosy, inviting, and it had everything tou need - it felt like you could move straight in. There is an attention to detail wherever you look, and if you like decorating your own home, you will truly appreciate this place. There are a couple of restaurants just around the corner (the Indian one had a very good selection of dishes), and Tesco Express is just a few meters away. You won't need it though, as a thoughtful welcome basket will await you upon arrival. Teresa is an excellent communicator, and it has been a real pleasure exchanging emails and messages. Thank you so much for having us!
