We loved watching the rabbits scampering on the lawn with the occasional chicken thrown in, a wonderful break in a delightful Setting

Gamekeepers cottage was a large spacious bungalow with every convenience.
Gamekeepers cottage was a large spacious bungalow with every convenience. Owners were near and any problem was swiftly dealt with. only downside which might bother some people was the proximity and subsequent traffic noise from the A47. Although there was no facilities in the village, the campsite shop provided basic necessities. Couldn't fault the cottage and the chickens added an extra dimension. Noise level was not noticeable when indoors with windows shut.
Good choice of supermarkets a few miles away.

Nice cottage but too close to main road with passing traffic 24/7, so couldn’t use the conservator
Nice cottage but too close to main road with passing traffic 24/7, so couldn’t use the conservatory or garden. The busy roadway let’s down what is otherwise a very nice holiday let.

Very nice comfy cottage with everything needed.
Very nice comfy cottage with everything needed. However you can’t escape the traffic noise which if truthful spoilt it a bit for me personally. Very friendly and helpful staff at the campsite just round the corner and a handy little shop. A car is required as there is nothing within walking distance except a some common land. Sandringham is a worth a visit and not that far in a car as are Hunstanton and Snettisham beaches.

A lovely well laid out, spacious and clean cottage with large enclosed garden (perfect for dogs).
A lovely well laid out, spacious and clean cottage with large enclosed garden (perfect for dogs). It's an ideal base for exploring West Norfolk. The house is just off a main road (A47) and we were a bit worried before going that it might be noisy but it really wasn't an issue. The location is a few minutes drive from King's Lynn, which has plenty of amenities, and there are plenty of beautiful beaches and other attractions within easy driving distance. The owners were very helpful and there was always someone on hand to help if necessary (they also run the campsite next door).
We had a lovely restful stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
