"Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. "

"Property was exactly as pictured. Even better! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were very accommodating. The owner was super sweet and made sure we were good. I utilized the rooftop bar, the pool and the laundry service. The property and rooms were very clean and comfortable! The food and drinks were good and the chef was nice! And our driver, Mike, was great! I would definitely recommend staying here and will be staying here again! "

"The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. "Great staff. I would not class this as a five star hotel. It is situated outside the city and I was the only guest. Electric kept going off but the staff were really kind. The spa was good but in Aruba you must have a doctor for the spa and the doctor at this spa was missing. Many services were not available because he was not there. "

Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette, crepes, and fresh fruit. We had a bit of trouble getting there due to Google maps sending us on a roundabout route (very narrow dirt road) when we should have gone straight from the main paved road to the front entrance.
