"we were travelling to Ireland to bring my brother’s ashes back to bury him, I spoke to the owner of this house on the day of travelling only to be told they do not advertise their property with Hotels.com we were left stranded and having to sort out accommodation last minute, the owner tried to help us as Bunclody is a very small town and not plentiful of accommodation. "This was our favorite stay in our travels across Ireland. It is a great location especially if you plan on hiking in Wicklow/Glendalough. It was a quiet, well maintained property. Now, there are employees on site during certain times of day so one call out is to pay close attention to your emails as you will get information to access to lodge remotely. The family room with en-suite bathroom was perfect for our family and the room was sizable which is such a welcome surprise when in Europe. And the breakfast at the lodge was awesome! Many continental breakfast choices as well as hot breakfast - the full Irish Breakfast was delicious and the service we received was top notch. I highly recommend this gem."
