The bedrooms consist of a double and family room with a king-size and single, both with en-suite shower rooms. Home to traditional music and the Athy Arts Centre, the town is a wonderful destination to sample a slice of Irish culture and tradition. The Bluegrass Festival is hosted by Athy each year and this is when the town comes alive with music and dancing. Athy also boasts a golf club, angling club and superb walking trails making it a fantastic base to stretch your legs and switch off. Within an hour’s drive of Athy are the stunning glacial lakes of Glendalough in County Wicklow, and also the medieval town of Kilkenny with its original cobbled streets and castle is within driving distance. A superb base to tour this glorious region.

Property was very nice and the setup was wonderful. Separate sleeping bathroom areas for both couples with a central living areas. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

CLEAN AND QUIET

Deloris and John were very nice and the place was nice and clean. The king bed (in with the single) could be a little more comfortable. Our hips and backs were pretty sore.
