Great Guesthouse

We are so glad we made it to Killybegs! Our hosts were so friendly and a joy to talk with. We were pleased with the private parking, good size family room with comfortable beds and tasty breakfast. It also had fast, reliable WiFi. We would highly recommend this guesthouse!!

Excellent and memorable

I will definitely stay at Seawinds again when I visit Donegal. The location cannot be beat. Patricia was so warm, congenial and helpful in every way possible. I could’ve talked to her all day. This place is a true gem. Check out her beautiful art all throughout the common areas. Killybegs is a lovely and welcoming area where everyone knows each other. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the city life that I’m used to.

Great B&B

Fantastic one night stay, perfect location and great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was great and we had a lovely view from our room.

Avoid...

Old 14inch T.V in a sea of pinewood, threadbare stair carpet and a shambolic carpark. We were blocked in twice in 12 hours but a nice breakfast and helpfull staff , needs urgent update of rooms no fan in bathroom kettle in dangerous place old heavy TV and box held onto tilted mount with cable ties etc. family room not suitable for children.

A real find in Killybegs

Wonderful hospitality, warm welcome and fabulous room. Enjoyed a harbour view and a great night’s sleep in quiet surroundings. Lovely Chinese restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. We look forward to staying here again. Terrific base for exploring Slieve League. Would really highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We took a fantastic trip on a boat right at the dock. We spent 3 hours out in the bay and around to see the cliffs. Wonderful!

The Seawind is an adorable B&B filled with local charm. Our host was very kind, particularly as we booked last minute and arrived fairly late for a B&B. We had a lovely Harbor View from our room. The breakfast was very nice and the coffee was great. The Seawind also has some local watercolors for sale of the surrounding areas at a very reasonable price. This was a fun added bonus. The host gave us a handmade map of the area with recommended stops. This was a very personal touch.

A nice place to stay!

A group of four of us stayed in late August 2018. Patricia was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived late (9pm), Patricia was at the door to welcome us. After showing us to our rooms (& turning on the heat in one of the rooms), Patricia suggested a great local restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was good & served promptly at the booked time. Unusual non menu requests were accommodated by the friendly cheerful staff. One of our group felt that their bed was uncomfortable but the others were happy with their nights sleep. The B&B is centrally located in the town of Killybegs which is a working industrial fishing port and a good base to explore Donegal. As we were staying in Killybegs until 4:00 pm on the day of checkout, the offer to leave our car in the B&B car park was a welcome final touch. On the whole, a nice place to stay!

Not what we expected. Room was clean and linens fresh but quite small. No view at all. Bathroom needs updating. Food was not memorable. Not our best band b experience. The hostess was very friendly and warm. Average place to stay.

Grande chambre, grande salle de bain, propre, vue sur le port en plein centre de Killibegs, quoi de mieux ? L'accueil, Patricia est super gentille et attentionnée et vous prépare un petit déjeuner sur mesure. Les environs sont epoustouflants. Une très bonne adresse

A lovely B&B in the heart of Killybegs overlooking the harbour area. It is a matter of a few moments to reach most of the services a traveler would desire. They have an excellent breakfast with a good range of choices to suit any appetite. If the weather is nice I heartily recommend having your meal on the balcony with its terrific view.

B&B with a view

Our stay at Seawinds B&B was great! We were only there for one night, but if we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay again. Great view, good food, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was very friendly!

Einfaches gutes Hotel bei einem Hafen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge: ZB Cliffs of Donegal und Sandstrände bei Ardara. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber.

Nice hosts

The hosts were very accommodating. Breakfast was good. The room was a bit small for the king size bed. WiFi signal was spotty and tv did not work.

Amazing place more amazing hospitality!

What a nice place, center of town, great view, and hospitality is amazing.. she let us check in early and even offer to help with luggage up the stairs. Parking tight but available. Very cutely decorated room.
