Ideal location. Amenities at property were lovely. Unfortunately, the hot tub on property is not working, that was a bit disappointing to find out, but the pool was wonderful!

Retreat in Maui

Comfortable stay at Lori & Greg’s property. Great location steps from beach. We had a rental vehicle so was easy to get to other beaches and groceries. There is a bus stop near buy. The hot tub/jacuzzi is no longer there but minor. Great communication from hosts, condo community very welcoming both other visitors and long term residents.property grounds cared for. Would definitely rebook if coming back to area.

Perfect beach vacation

Wonderful Spacious Condo with Great Book Collection

Great location on the road to the Enchanted Forest, Honolua Bay, and other great spots. Spacious condo. We appreciated the furnishings were just right for the space -- not too much as to overwhelm. And we love that the owners had a book and game collection.

Great lodging choice

This accommodation proved to be an excellent lodging choice. With all the traveling we planned to do on this island, this location was central to all of our activities. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our needs. Multiple shopping and eating establishments were readily accessed. We will certainly plan to stay here again in the future.

Supper convenient, super quiet!!

The condo is roughly 40 minutes from the airport and Lahaina. It's quiet, has all of the essentials, and it's really close to the beach. It was great!

Great Condo and Location

The owner responds in a timely manner. The condo is just across the street from the beach and is only a 20 min drive from the airport. Over all, my experience was great!

Relaxing escape

We absolutely loved staying at Greg and Lori's place in Kihei. They had everything you need and more available. Greg was extremely helpful with finding some.of the best beaches and restaurants for our family for our vacation. The pool made a great place for us to relax at night after exploring all day. We loved being able to see the sea turtles nearby in the morning and definitely visited the bakery down the road. We would highly recommend this spacious condo, especially for families.

The condo was in a perfect location! Very clean complex and very clean condo. Loved that they provided beach gear, though we didn't have time to use anything. Maybe next time, will definitely be using this again!

Perfect spot with great little extras

We loved the small size of the complex closer to the residential area. It was quiet and the pool was never over crowded. The ocean is just steps away. The beach equipment provided was in excellent condition, as were the communal grills. We also appreciated labels on the light switches to not have to hunt for what is what. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Unit is also close to assigned parking spot making easy loading/unloading.

We felt bedrooms got a little warm compared to what were used to in Minnesota. They had fans to move air from the family room where the air conditioner was so it wasn't too hot sleeping. Overall it was a nice place to stay in Maui. Thank you for having us!

Great host, fantastic condo near the beach

This 2 BR condo is well equipped with all the kitchen dishes, pans, etc for cooking in. Also BBQ grill near the pool. Well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards etc. Lori was a responsive and helpful host. She even made special arrangements so I could have a package mailed to me at the condition! Great experience!

Perfect base for island exploration!

This is a fantastic condo located at the north end of Kihei, just steps from the beach and centrally located to explore the whole of Maui. With two bedrooms, a generous kitchen and shared space, and a nice west-facing porch, it is a comfortable spot for two couples (or a family) to relax, cook, snorkel, and watch the sunset. Greg and Lori are super responsive, and have filled the unit with helpful amenities like a washer/dryer, a blender, and a huge amount of snorkel gear in all shapes and sizes. We had a fantastic time, and would absolutely stay here again! It was a real gem.

Great overall experience

This condo is in a great location, has all the amenities, plus the little things that really add up. Having a cooler and beach chairs everyday made our day trips so much smoother and cheaper. And the snorkel gear was a real plus as well. We were extremely comfortable in this rental and the space it provided. The auto door lock was very convenient. The only complaints I can come up with is the laundry seems to take a long time to run a load, there could be some more silverware since there is the convenience of a dishwasher, and we did get a couple bug bites in the house.

The property was nice and maintained well. It was just across the street to access the beach and proximity to airport was optimal; can also easily connect to other places. The owners were very responsive and responded immediately to any questions asked. Only disappointment was the unit number was not shared with us for checking in and we had to figure out at 10pm for more than an hour to get into the condo. After a long tiresome flight and with a kid, I was getting worried but luckily for us, there were few friendly neighbors who helped to connect with the manager. The whole stay was very pleasant (except for the minor glitch due to the unit details not being shared by the HomeAway app).

Nice affordable place

Let me start by saying this condo for filled our needs. I do recommend it. It is sufficient for a vacation of enjoying Maui. If you plan to staying in a lot maybe find a place in a higher price range. Most of the issues didn’t affect us as in the slow WiFi and basic cable package. My only complaint is the A/C was not sufficient for the really hot nights. That ask that you don’t leave it running all day so when you close everything for bed it doesn’t really get it cools off for a few hours. Through out the day the breeze from the wind and slider open was nice. We tried not the spend too much time there as we only had a week there. Wanted to see all the island had to offer. Overall an enjoyable stay

Beautiful holiday home with all comfort at best place near ocean beach

Thanks for sharing this comfortable condo to us for our holidays in Maui. We are a family with 2 teenager - for this groupsize the condo is perfect. We found everything needed to enjoy our stay. Each morning starting with breackfast on the lanai, ocean nearby and hearing the waves. Good Equipment for the beach and snorkeling also available, great. Additional the comfort to use the pool and Yacuzzi after a long day visiting Maui makes it more valuable - with last but not least the use of the barbecue Weber Grill at the poolside! We had a good sleep in the comfortable beds and were happy with the big refigerator where we stored drinks, food and fruit (in Germany our was a small one - our children loved it to have cold drinks over the day!). We even used your cooling box over the day, it was so helpful !! Inside the condo we do not need the AC, with opening the lanai door, our windows in the bedrooms and the support of the fans we had comfortable climate conditions. The parking place was near the lanai, after shopping a short way for carrying the goods to the condo. Greg and Lori, thanks for all the amenities we might have on our Maui expedition!! We recommend it and would come back at anytime!

Owners don't make right on their mistakes...

Rented back in November for January visit. Asked to check in early as we had an early flight. Can't...had a guest checking out same day. No problem, I get it. Arrive to check in at 4pm per agreement. Something seems wrong. Snorkel gear on floor. Couch cushion upturned, garbage bags on both beds along with used towels. Low toilet paper & when I looked in the toilet, there was a dark film around the edges of the water and a gross black something with what looks like a tail floating in the toilet. Inside fridge not cleaned and dishes left in dishwasher. Call Greg and leave voice mail. Calls me back right away. Text him pictures of everything. His 'what is that' text I assume is about the thing floating in toilet. Says he also wouldn't be happy if it were him especially with something bad with toilet. Says cleaning people 'dropped the ball.' Do we want to wait til tomorrow or have them come today. TODAY! Says this has never happened in 3 years of renting. Maybe he was surprised but he finally actually apologies towards the end of the conversation. OK. Place isn't suitable for my family at this point so we go to the beach so the kids can play. I text him that I know he didn't want this to happen either, I am sure he will make it right and text me when they finish cleaning. After 1.5 hours, we are hungry. Come back to get stuff so we can go out. Cleaners are there. Very friendly. Say this place wasn't on their schedule and they cleaned another unit already today at property. Who knows who 'dropped the ball'? Greg or them? Out to eat. Greg texts cleaners finished around 3 hours after advertized check in time. Dishes still in dishwasher. Caring=doing/action. Greg never follows up on this impactful issue. No, sorry again, how did cleaners do? Nada. Greg helps us find the snorkel gear and an Iron when WE ask. Maybe try waiving the cleaning charge for not meeting advertized check in or follow up? Messaged him one more time about restitution for the place not being ready as advertised and waited 4 days. Nothing. This was a short 5 star review that became a 2 because Greg didn't follow up and charged full price when he didn't deliver on time as promised. Doesn't seem to get/feel/care impact on a family vacation. Honestly, if you are looking to book here and things go as planned, you will probably have a nice stay. If something unexpected happens and Greg has to help, I expect he'll do the minimum so he can collect, but don't expect much else.

Clean, comfortable condo that was extremely well equipped. Lots of beach chairs and other equipment for the beach. Tons of kitchen equipment made preparing meals very easy. Great central location that made it easy to get to other parts of the island.
