D201 with AC is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, ocean view condo with a king size bed. D201 is  tiled throughout. There is a full size washer/dryer in the condo so you can pack light. The wide view of the pacific ocean includes West Maui and Ma'alaea, Lanai, Kaho'olawe, and Molokini.  Enjoy dining on the lanai while watching a rousing game of pickleball or a spectacular Maui sunset.

Lovely pool area has hot tub, saunas & 5 gas bbq grills.  Tennis & pickleball courts.
FREE parking
NO elevators so you are walking up 2 flights of stairs.

Very nice stay.

We were a little confused about the check-in and check-out processes. I'm not sure if I just missed the instructions, but it seemed unclear. Aside from that, the property and location were perfect. We had an exquisite view of the ocean, with a very short distance walk. It's definitely the perfect place to stay!

We stayed at the Luana Kai 11 nights, all was great. Condo is clean and functional, the communication with the owner was easy. Perfect location for the family, close to grocery store, restaurants. Really nice view from the condo for the sunset. AC fully working, internet fast. No issue with bugs in the condo as previously reported. Highly recommend...

Love Kihei but average stay at Luana Kai Resort

My friends and I loved Maui and specifically loved Kihei, however location was not ideal. it was around a 10 minute drive to the good beaches in Kihei and not many places within walking distance. We rented a car so it wasn’t a huge deal, but if you’re someone who wants a place within walking distance this may not be the place for you. We walked in and thought it appeared clean, however a few days into our stay realized how many bugs and lizards were able to enter the place. We had dead little bugs everywhere and had to shoo out lizards after they somehow got in. We noticed the screens were popped out in some places so we assume that’s where bugs got in. Overall, we didn’t come to Maui to stay in the condo all day, so if you’re okay with bugs, lizards, and driving to main locations, then this spot will be fine.
