Great location

The condo was a great choice for us. The location was perfect. Close to everything. Coffee shop, snow cone, abc mart and market was across the street. The property was right on the beach. Condo had everything you needed. We would definitely stay again. The only thing I would recommend would be more lighting.

Perfect spot to explore and enjoy Maui

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was comfortable for our family of four. The beds were great and the kitchen well stocked. Guide books in the living room helped us plan our excursions, and the location made it easy and quick to get to restaurants and beaches. We also appreciated having access to beach chairs, umbrella and coolers (with cooler packs in the freezer!). The property managers were prompt and friendly in their communications. We never had a problem, but be aware that the pool is right below the condo so noisy kids/adults could be an issue. We would definitely stay here again.Mahalo!

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location with easy drive to Wailea and Kahului as well as tour companies for snorkeling and whale watching. Good food also nearby and Excellent shaved ice at walking distance. Great view for sunset. Very clean and well supplied but expected condition for furniture for ocean front property.From there went to Westin in Kaanapali for my conference and I preferred this apartment for its flexibility, location and closeness to much tastier food (less luxurious but better). The pool at Westin was much better of course).I would definitely stay there again if not near Hana.

You can walk right to the beach from the place and enjoy nice walks up and down the coast. Pretty central location to get to everything else on the island too. The place was clean and comfortable.

Condo 201

Condo 201was clean and stocked. The master bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The only complaints I have are that the dryer didn’t work and the stock of towels and washcloths was low. However, it wouldn’t stop me from staying in this exact condo again.

Kihei Beach Resort 201

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the Kihei Beach Resort was great and I highly recommended it to others. The location can’t be beat - all units front directly to the beach, it’s literally in the middle of the island on the west side opposite the airport, and it’s in the quiet north end of Kihei on the relatively undiscovered Sugar Beach. Specific to the unit itself - the positives were the well remodeled/updated kitchen and bathrooms. Areas for improvement - the “clean” bath linens had a musty smell to them and needed to be washed, tile floor was dirty resulting in dirty feet just from walking around shortly after showering, the mattresses/pillows are worn - would benefit from replacement, and the sofa/chairs are well past their life expectancy and need replaced.

Not bad 3 out of 5 stars

As a family that travels a lot for work and leisure, we count on the accuracy of reviews when booking a stay. The apartment has great views with direct access to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking pans and they even have beach supplies you can borrow(umbrella, chairs, cooler). The patio has a table for enjoying meals but we found that this could only be used early morning. Once evening approaches, you must close the sliding door because there are gnats that will enter the apartment. The cleanliness of the apartment is rated as a 3/5. The washer and dryer are not functional but they do have a onsite coin laundry. You are provided a hotel size shampoo/conditioner, so do count on providing your own. The communication with the host is exceptional and they address all your needs in a timely manner.

Breathtaking View!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival the key pad number that I was given was wrong. I called Sherry on the emergency number and she was quick to give me the right number. The condo was comfortable, needs some updating but the view was breathtaking. Our shower in the spare room would not shut off one day so again I called Sherry, she had a maintenance man there promptly and the issue was resolved. There was also another time where the guests below us had there kids outside at midnight screaming and yelling in the grass area. These thing are not the fault of the Condo, but I just want to stress that Sherry was always just a phone call away. The ABC store across the store was very convenient as was the Bakery. The beach was beautiful for long morning walks, and sunsets.

Kealia Resort Stay Nov 2017

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 stayed at the Kealia resort in Nov 2017 for 10 days. This was our first time to Hawaii. The instructions provided prior to our arrival included directions from the airport, access to the condo and various other useful information and supplies for use during our stay. Getting settled was seamless. The condo was well equipped. It was a great location with a Farmer market, ABC and Shave Ice store across the street. The sunsets from this Lanai are truly amazing. The road construction on Kihei Rd woke us up a few mornings and on our last day they unfortunately broke a water main so we had no water that day. However, that was no fault of the condos and although inconvenient, the water was back on by dinner time. We plan to come back next year and would stay here again without hesitation. We're very grateful for the opportunity to spend a family vacation at the Kealia Resort Condo and left 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs in the Lanai storage to give back. Enjoy!

Reviewer Comments: Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sensationell ,davon lebt das Appartement, die Einrichtung bis auf die Küche ist älter, z.T Badarmaturen eher grenzwertig, die Fenster und Wände dünn, man hört alle über und unter einem bei den Nachbarn, Party , Kinderlärm etc., insgesamt für 4-5 Tage o.k. guter Parkplatz, Supermarkt und Bakery gleich über die Strasse.Was wirklich eine Frechheit war ist die Waschmaschine und der Trockner: verrostet, dreckig , versifft , wahrscheinlich auch verschimmelt, gesundheitsgefährdend ! Niemand mit Verstand will hier seine Wäsche waschen oder trocknen, wir mussten mit dreckiger Wäsche nach San Fran weiterreisen.Somit Preis-Leistungsverhältnis grenzwertig, die Insel und der Strand machen vieles wett, ich weiß nicht ob ich das Appartement wirklich Freuden empfehlen kann, wir waren ganzen Tag unterwegs und fast nur zum Schlafen da, dafür war es o.k.

Great location but....

There's ample room in the unit and a wonderful view.The kitchen is stocked well enough. You will need refreezable cooler ice.and more Tupperware.The drawbacks1)the smell of sewage was a constant. Increased whenever the wind blows. It was so bad it would wake us up. Even with the bathroom door closed closed.2)bugs, so many midge flies. They crawl right through the screens. If you have windows open or the slider the unit will become infested. The entire floor needed to be cleaned every morning to sweep up the dead flies. Smelled of sewage and we couldn't open the windows.3) you can not use the washer and dryer. It's there but you will be instructed not to use it.

Great spot to stay

Well appointed and clean. Plenty of room for the three of us, four would be fine, five would work as well. Very close to the beach, not crowded at all and quiet, yet only a mile or two from "downtown Kihei" . Would and have recommended to others
