Oceanfront condo steps to both famous Kamaole I and Kamaole II beaches. No elevators or stairs to navigate. Our Lanai spills onto a well maintained garden area making our views unforgettable. Easy access to the beaches and pool - nothing stands between you and the ocean but a carpet of beautiful grass under your toes.

We have enhanced views with sliding glass doors in both the Living Room and Primary Bedroom.

This popular and well-maintained private complex is nestled between the best south Maui beaches Kamaole I and II with exceptional swimming, snorkeling and turtle watching outside your door.

Our 2 BR condo has comfortable furnishings with authentic Hawaiian hospitality. New LCD TV's in the Living Room (40 inch; Smart/Apple TV), Primary Bedroom (32 inch; w/Apple TV) and Second Bedroom (27 inch; w/Apple TV).

The Primary Bedroom includes a King-Size bed with 100% cotton sheets, a walk-in closet, and OCEANFRONT views

Our Second Bedroom includes 2 Twin Beds (convertible to King) with 100% cotton sheets, double door closet.

Our OCEANFRONT ground floor Lanai flows out onto a lush grass and garden area only a few steps to the beaches and freshwater pool. Also unobstructed views of Molokini Crater and the West Maui Mountains.

The desirable ground floor unit is perfect for all ages and any family. The Royal Mauian is one of the most well-loved condominium complexes in South Kihei. Walking distance to many specialty shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Minutes from WAILEA shops, fine dining and more beautiful beaches.

The rooftop is unique. The prep kitchen and BBQ also make a perfect gathering place for meals and enjoying sunsets with views of Haleakalā and West Maui Mountains.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE A/C.
Our building is designed to allow ocean front trade winds to naturally cool our condo. We have ceiling fans in each room to keep air flow comfortable year-round. If you absolutely cannot imagine living without A/C, our Ohana experience may not be for you.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm/Check-out time is 11:00 am. There is no assigned parking. One car space per condo.

Beautiful Unit at a Fantastic Location

The finishings of this condo are really a step above what you’d expect at this price point. Also the location is phenomenal with beautiful beaches flanking both sides of the property and plenty of food within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved staying in a ground floor unit. It made the space feel larger and was easier to “refresh” a drink and watch the sunset. The lack of air conditioning was more than we bargained for however. We shared the condo with another couple, and we used the smaller bedroom and second bathroom. Super awkward as the doors are louvre, and open directly into the living area. Not at all sound proof, so it didn’t have a sense of privacy. There weren’t beach chairs or a cooler, so we had to purchase and leave those. Cost was the same as to rent them. Next time we’ll look for another unit with AC and different set up.

Mother Daughter Maui Bonding

My 29 year old daughter and I (age 67) enjoyed five days of beaching, ATVing, swimming, walking, sunning, and bonding, with this condo as our base of operations. Gretchen’s place is well kept, conveniently located, and stocked with all amenities needed for a perfect stay.

Great stay in Kihei!

Love the location, between Kamole I and Kamaole II beaches. Great snorkeling for beginners, conveniently across the street from shops and eats and rentals, perfect for morning walks and sunsets on the lanai. The best!

Wonderful location, condo, and care

We love "our Maui home". We are so grateful to the owners as they are excellent in taking care of our every need. We had a couple tiny hickups and IMMEDIATELY the owners and on island property manager did everything possible to rectify the situation. We love the unit and the location is fantastic. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you!!!

Well, the unit was nice but no A/C turned out to be a big problem…90 degrees every day and the wind stops at sunset. Ceiling fans rotate about 2 mph so they provide little help. Had to sleep with screen doors open in a neighborhood that had some seedy elements. One night there was a large police presence and a guy screaming on the sidewalk having some drug or psychiatric episode. Homeless sometimes camping next to north side of the property., as well.We asked that the dead bolt be fixed on our sliding glass door…never happened. Although, They did replace a broken coffee grinder promptly (go figure). The unit has a very nice view and the area has nice restaurants, stores ,etc within walking distance. Glad we used it more as a base camp than a resort. Wailea it is not.Also, saw many turtles off the rocky shoreline and the roof top view was spectacular.

The location of this condo is perfect. It is with a short walking distance to beaches, convenience stores, liquor stores and restaurants. The grounds are very well maintained with a perfect ocean view.

Nice stay!

Had a wonderful trip. First floor unit right on the water. Beautiful beaches to either side of the condo. Trade winds in the afternoons are lovely with all doors and windows open. Great location with access to everything. Would stay here again!

Wonderful Welcome to Paradise!

Prime Kihei location right on the beach. Perfect for whale watching, walking almost anywhere and amazing sunsets. Condo is welcoming, comfortable, clean and well provisioned. Owner Gretchen is friendly and responsive as are the employees at the Royal Mauian.

Great condo in a great location

We had a great stay at the condo. The location is the best we have had in the area and we’ve stayed at several other locations through the years. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely try to stay here for future trips. The location is walking distance to all sorts of spots for shopping/food/drinks and right between two great beaches. Gretchen was very great to work with

Graduation celebration

We had a fantastic stay celebrating our oldest son’s accomplishment of graduating High School. We soaked up the sun, played in the ocean, ate lots of great food, and most importantly made great memories with our family. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable. Best Location in Beautiful Condo!

We loved our stay in this condo! We have stayed in quite a few different complexes on Maui over the years, but this one has the best location and unobstructed views!!! We loved meals on the lanai, walks on the beach right next to condo, the pool, central location, and sunsets directly out front! Despite not having air conditioning, the trade winds and cool nights were perfect even in July. We would definitely book this condo again!

Such a beautiful property and condo. Everything is updated and elegant! Loved being on the first floor with the beautiful green grass in front of us. It’s right next to the pool, but we didn’t have any problems with noise from the other guests. I highly recommend this unit!

Graduation Trip with Grandson

We booked this at the last minute due to the Maui fire. Loved the whole condo - remodeled, great first floor location, great views right from the condo and patio. No A/C, but didn’t need A/C - fans kept the unit cool day and night. Checkin was easy - with Gretchen and at the site. Lot of restaurants in the area and great beaches ! All in all - fantastic - 5 out of 5 - would definitively stay again!

Maui Gem

My husband and I just returned from a two week vacation in Maui. We were lucky enough to spend that time in Unit #115 at the Royal Mauian! It was beyond our expectations. The condo had been recently renovated and was beautifully designed and decorated. The photos do not begin to do it justice. Not only did it feel like a home away from home, but it was centrally located in Kihei. We watched the sunset each evening and the view from the lanai was spectacular. We enjoyed every moment of our stay there and fully intend to visit again! Thank you Gretchen and family!

Beautiful location hearing ocean waves at night

Love this 1st floor location where you can walk out onto your patio with sight and sounds of ocean. Have your coffee and enjoy the view. Only a minute walk to beach. And walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Owner ensured we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can go across the street to rent chairs and boogie boards at Auntie Snorkel and get coffee and breakfast sandwich or açaí bowl at Beach Street. Only downside was no playing ball or frisbee in grassy area in front of condo was not ideal for our teenagers who wanted to pepper the volleyball in the evening. Although there is a park nearby, it has no lights. Otherwise it was a great stay.

3rd visit to unit 115

This was our 3rd trip back to this beautiful condo since 2021 and we are pleased with how well it’s been taken care of despite being a short term rental. The owners do a wonderful job taking care of the place and making it feel loved. This unit is beautiful inside with an island style feel. The views are so breathtaking and with the easy access to the beach and grocery store across the street you can enjoy yourself for days without leaving the area. The owner does a good job stating that the unit has no air conditioning. If you decide to go in the heat of the summer make sure you're okay with the heat and humidity. It can be very hot sleeping at night in the summer, even with fans.

Wonderful!! PRIME location

Our stay was great. Just fyi there is no AC. We slept with the doors open and fans on and it didn’t bother us. It is safe enough to sleep with all the windows and doors open. we couldn’t have asked for a better location next to all the restaurants and a fantastic beach on either side of you. The sand is so soft! Much softer than Lahaina actually. One of our favorite vacations so far! It has a small surf town feel unlike Lahaina which is so commercialized. Only a short drive to wailea if you want to shop the fancy stores. Some EXCELLENT coffee shops directly across the street as well as an organic grocery store if you want to cook a meal or two. The condo was very clean and tidy and we loved that they had organic shampoo and body soaps for us. We had a late flight and were able to do a late checkout. We even left a few items by accident and the owner was nice enough to ship them! Our experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Great location!

The location of this condo is ideal. It’s on the first floor, so you open the back sliding door to the beautiful ocean with grass and palm trees. You can take a very short walk to the left or right to get to the beach. Soft sand, clear water and turtles! The condo is comfortable. Not having AC took getting used to. It was awkward leaving all the doors and windows open all day and all night. We realized it was safe to do, but we were uneasy about it. We love our AC so not having it was hard. The ocean breeze was essential, but not quite cool enough for us at night to sleep well. When we arrived, they were still cleaning the condo, but left pretty quickly. The property manager was very kind and was quick to bring us missing shampoo and soap. The front bedroom doesn’t get as much air flow and it is very small. Our two teens slept there and were fine, but it was tight. The master bedroom sliding door has to stay open for airflow to occur, which is fine except when the pool guy sprayed down the pool walkways and used a blower at 7:30am on one of the mornings. Having the pool right next to this unit was noisy at times. Also, you can walk across the street to shop and eat which is very convenient. We drove just a few minutes down the road for other restaurants and shops. And Wailea is so gorgeous and it’s just a short drive away. Golf at the Wailea golf resort was amazing! Overall, this was a good place to stay due the location and being on the first floor.
