Perfect 10 Sugar Beach!

Condo was perfect for our visit. Ground floor and yard, pool, and beach access was definitely the best place for all! Highly recommend this for families and or older guests.

A wonderful spot for families

We stayed for 8 days with 2 kids aged 10-12. The property is in a lovely spot and we loved the fact that it is right on the beach.

Perfect vacation rental

Perfect. The beds were SO comfortable. The unit had everything we needed- BBQ, fully stocked kitchen, cooler, chairs. The view was incredible. Best shaved ice on the island across the street. Small farmers market, convenience store, and gift shop also across the street. Privacy- being in the end of the complex. Only 15 minutes from the airport and the most central location possible for restaurants, beaches, scenic drives, and expiditions.

A little bit of paradise!

Everything about this condo was just perfect! The reservation process, the check in, and the entire condo. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults. Everything was up to date and more than comfortable. Last but in no way least, the ground floor location and view of the ocean was superb! We will definitely stay here again!

Kihei's Hidden Gem

We absolutely loved the location. Not only was it located in the middle of the island where you can go any direction within reasonable time, its also across the street from the farmers market, awesome bakery and shaved ice which we frequented daily. It was also on the water so we took daily walks on the beach and loved hearing the ocean all the time. Thank you!!

Enjoyable stay

Everything was wonderful from the check in to the day we unfortunately had to leave. There were a few minor hiccups (garberator didn’t work, handle to microwave came off with first opening of microwave) which were addressed right away. We would definately keep this rental in mind for our next trip back to Maui.

A great place to stay

We enjoyed the condo, the nearby beach and reef, as well as the central location to other attractions. The ground level unit was nice for the children. The palm tree in front of the unit provided good afternoon shade. Most other units were in the direct afternoon sun.

Beautiful, clean, Well equipped

This place was amazing in terms of close close it is to Kihei downtown. Beach facing patio was amazing. This place was absolutely clean and well equipped. We loved the our stay. Apart from that Alii resorts customer service was just amazing. We also requested for a late checkout due to flight delays and they were generous enough to let us start a couple hours more on the checkout day. Will surely come back.

Everything about this property was great except for the older couple who spends the day right outside the glass doors. Very annoying. They kind of ruin the view. Loved everything else!

Kihei condo was family perfect

We arrived at 0845 and called after we had got our car. That was around 1030. Check in isn't until 4PM. We had lots of time to kill. Of course ate wonderful food and went to the beach at another beach. They called us at 330 and let us know our room was ready. It was exactly as it was shown. We loved the pool and beach access. The beach was great although the tide was quite murky/sandy so we spent most of our beach time farther south. The only improvements I would've like would be to allow quests to maybe use the pool or offer up the beach while waiting?? The early check out was also kind of a bummer 10am is early when your flight leaves at 4pm. The room and location with an ABC store, bakery farmers market and the best shave ice on the island right across the street was wonderful and convenient. I would stay there again the next time we are in Maui. We were there during the fires so my heart goes out to those who have lost so much. We are so sorry for your losses. Stay Maui strong!!

Great stay in Maui!

The condo was conveniently located and we could get to any part of the island easily. I loved the lanai and being on the first floor. There are lots of chickens and a couple roosters. We loved the rooster our first day but we became less enamored with him and all his noise super early in the morning the further we got into our trip. We also loved the grassy area and lounge chairs just outside our condo, watch out for chicken poop. The inside of the condo was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and we loved that there were ceiling fans and also oscillating fans. We did have a hiccup with the AC our first night but that was an issue with the chiller for the building and affected all the units in the building so all the fans came in handy. We were warm our first night but the rest of our trip the AC worked great! Management was quick to respond any time I reached out. If we came back to Maui, I am not sure if we would stay at this condo only because the beach is meh even though the view is great! We might stay in a different part of the island – somewhere we can sit on the beach and look at clear water in the afternoons before dinner without loading and unloading our car with beach chairs, cooler, etc. All in all we had an amazing first trip to Maui!

Beautiful location, great for family

We spent nine days here with our three children who are 3, 2 and eight months old. We wanted a place that was quiet and had easy access to the beach, and that is exactly what we got. This is a corner unit, with a nice grassy area right off the lanai. We would walk down to the beach every day to play in the sand and let the kids burn off energy. There is a closet with a bunch of beach chairs and toys. The beach is beautiful, easy to access, and there were never many people there. The water was great for kids to play in, unless the wind was blowing. There’s an ABC store, a farmers market and the shave ice place right across the street. Safeway and long’s drug store is a 5 min. drive away and Costco is about 15 min away. The only thing that was difficult was there are chickens that poop all over the grass around the building. It was hard to keep the kids from stepping in it and tracking it back in the condo. A little bit older kids wouldn’t have had a problem with it, but ours didn’t know any better. It’s nothing the condo or the building could change. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful property for anyone looking to enjoy an incredible Hawaiian retreat. Mahalo!

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the downstairs location especially for our kids who would frequently play on the lawn right outside the doors. I do wiish they’d considered updating the second half of the condo! The kitchen was beautiful but the bedroom and bathrooms would benefit from a facelift to match! However everything was clean and the Alii was very attentive and accommodating! We had a wonderful time’

Perfect Maui getaway

We had a beautiful and restorative stay at this lovely property. The sound of waves lulled us to sleep each night, and we enjoyed being able to access the beach with just a short walk across the grass to the steps to the beach. This place doesn't have a "big resort" vibe, which was a plus for us--it was quiet and peaceful. The farmer's market, convenience store, bakery, and shave ice stand just across the street added to the perfection. The home is comfortable, and just as pictured. It was simply perfect.

Beautiful Sunsets

Very nice property located right on the beach and the location is easy access to Wailea. Enjoyed great Sunsets every night from the unit's lanai. ABC Store across the street and also an excellent shaved ice stand right next to the ABC Store. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Super location, great communication.

The condo was at a great location and had very convenient access to the beach. The beach itself is not as crowded as other beaches in Maui and has great sunsets. The condo is located on the southern edge of the property and so is a bit more private than the rest of the units on the same floor. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom had great views of the ocean. Also close is an ABC store and Farmers market. All in all, the condo definitely delivered more than promised. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent!

My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely condo along with another couple and it was perfect for the four of us! The condo is in a great location for several things on the island. The outdoor bbq's are close and very convenient. The beach and lawn are beautiful! There is an ABC store located across the street, that proved to be very convenient. The bakery and farmer's market across the street as well as the shaved ice are a must try (there was literally a line for the shaved ice from open to close). Definitely visit the jewelry stand next to the farmer's market, Joanne, hand makes much of the jewelry and it is absolutely beautiful! The only cons: I do have to admit that while the unit was clean enough, it didn't feel extra clean and even mentioned that I would hire a different cleaning crew if it were my own place. Also, if you plan on sleeping past 530 or 6 am and are sleeping in the ocean front bedroom, shut the window. This unit in particular is right next door to maui canoe club and they begin their practice very early and have some rather loud chants! That being said, it didn't bother us as we were usually up and it was kinda fun to watch while sipping coffee on the lanai. Great stay, would definitely stay again!
