Stunning Maui oceanfront resort. 2 bedroom, 2 bath

2 bedroom 2 bath ocean front condo in Kihei.

Aloha!

Our condo is in Kauhale Makai - or Village by the Sea which is a great resort complex on a large grassy ocean front property. There is a saltwater pool and a hot tub. It is a 2 minute walk across the grass to a sandy beach which is great for beach walking, watching the sunrise and sunset, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, kiteboarding and windsurfing. There are several tennis courts and pickleball courts a few yards away.

The Kihei location is ideal. It is a 30 minute drive from the airport. From the condo, it is only 1-2 miles to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. There are other many great beaches in Kihei and Wailea a few miles from the condo.

Our unit is on the second floor. There is an elevator, but also a convenient open staircase from the atrium. The primary bedroom has a new (2024) California king sized bed with a sliding glass door to the lanai. You have a great ocean view from the bedroom. There is an ensuite bathroom with a shower and built in bidet in the toilet.
The second bedroom has two new (2024) twin beds and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a built in bidet in the toilet. The twin beds can be made into a king bed upon request.
You will have ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. There is a sliding glass door from the living room into the lanai. There is a patio table and 4 chairs on the lanai where you can enjoy coffee, meals and cocktails outdoors.

There is plenty of open free parking on site.

Air conditioning throughout the unit. There are ceiling fans in the dining room, master bedroom and guest bedroom. The ocean breeze is a great alternative to air conditioning.

There is free wifi and cable TV. There is a TV in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
You will have 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a beach umbrella, microfiber beach towels and a cooler.
There are several coin operated laundry rooms in the building but not in the unit.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, a bag of coffee and coffee filters.

We had an incredible stay. So clean, quiet, comfortable and very well situated. We were two couples and we had everything we needed, nothing we didn’t. Made great use of the beach chairs and beach umbrella. Loved morning coffee on the Lanai and steps from the beach for beautiful sunsets. The grounds and the view is spectacular. Communication with Lisa and Jules was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back again!

Fantastic stay

Beautiful Spot

The view of palm trees and the ocean right from your bed was just beautiful. Hosts were very responsive and everything was as described and well stocked. Spectacular sunsets. Would definitely stay here again.

Kihei stay - 7 days in paradise.

Lisa's condo was perfect for Maui adventure. The condo was clean, recently renovated and contained everything we needed for 2 couples to live comfortably for the week. We all agree, we can't wait to return to Maui and will definitely stay here again!

Nice place

This was a good deal and a very short walk to the closest beach - additional bars, restaurants and more beaches are a very short drive. The manager Barry was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Dreamy Christmas in Kihei

Loved this condo and it’s location! Located in a peaceful neighborhood on north end of Kihei yards from the beach with comfortable beds, good AC, a very well-stocked kitchen with nice appliances. We enjoyed whale watching from the balcony with binoculars, walks along the beach at sunrise and sunset, proximity to grocery store and restaurants. Communication with property manager and owner host was exceptional!

Absolutely wonderful!

A beautiful property with a wonderful view of the ocean! The property manager made sure we had everything we needed and let us keep our stuff in the room until our next property was ready because no one was checking in after us. I hope to stay again!!!

Clean, beach view in a great Kihei location!

Communication with Lisa and Juls was excellent. Easy touch pad check in, and the condo was just as it showed in the photos. We were two adult couples, no kids— enough space for us! They had a well stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies, books, recommendations, and everything for our 10 day stay. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked well, lanai views were spectacular, pool/hot tub was awesome and so close, and parking was easy and accessible! 10/10 would recommend this condo to others, and absolutely appreciate Lisa as a host. Thank you!

You might suspect the views were being over-represented, but they were just as fantastic as they appear in the photos. The condo was comfortable and well-appointed. Juls was as sweet and helpful as could be. The location was perfect for our needs: convenient to restaurants and amenities, yet quiet. Would recommend.

Easy and comfortable

Everything is as advertised in the listing and photos - very clean and an easy place to land. The owner, Lisa, is super-helpful from the moment you book and throughout your stay if needed. Centrally located, but you’ll want a car because the walkability down Kihei Blvd is hindered by a lack of sidewalks and most places are generally too far away for walking anyhow.

Great Property

This property is exactly as described. It was very clean, well stocked and updated in appearance. It has central air, which was a nice bonus since it was hot the week we were there. The AC had a brief malfunction when we arrived (this was a building issue), but the property manager kept us informed and it was resolved very quickly! The property owner is very responsive - the best we've dealt with, and we've stayed at multiple VRBO properties. We took two adult age kids (20) with us, and we were all very comfortable with the amount of privacy and common space. The only thing we found somewhat inconvenient is that there wasn't anything a short walk away. We love being able to walk to get coffee in the morning, or even a quick breakfast, and while those options are close, it was a bit further than we wanted to walk in the morning. That's just our preference, and not a deal breaker at all. Also, the beach right behind the property isn't much of a "playing on the beach" type of location. We went there to see the sunset and walk around a bit to get our feet wet, but we drove down the road to surf, swim and hang out on the sand. The pool is very well maintained and a nice option, too. Overall, this is a great property, and I would recommend it.
