Located on a quiet cul-de-sac behind Kiawah’s second security gate, in Vanderhorst Plantation, 761 Curlew Ct is an immaculately cared for Lowcountry home overlooking hole no. 2 of the Tom Fazio-designed Osprey Point golf course. This stunning home is within walking distance to the community crab and fishing dock or a short bike ride (7-8 min) to Osprey Beach, a private beach access point just for guests in the Vanderhorst Plantation. Private and centrally located, residents enjoy convenient access to all of Kiawah’s world-class amenities and distinctive venues, including fine dining, tennis and golf!
This superb residence is adorned with professionally designed landscaping featuring native Lowcountry palmettos, royal palms, and crepe myrtles which attend the driveway and front lawn. An elegant staircase rises to a covered portico with a windowed front door and rich wood flooring where you can rest outside and enjoy the island breeze.
Step inside to a two-story foyer which leads to an open and airy great room and enjoys sight lines into the kitchen and dining room, as well as the screened porch beyond.
The bright and airy home features tasteful millwork, crown molding, custom cabinetry and built-ins, honey-colored hardwood flooring, large windows and plantation shutters. Throughout the home you will experience lush views of the Osprey Point fairways and a lagoon perfect for the nature enthusiast. .
The great room features high ceilings and a tile-surround gas fireplace flanked by built-in cabinetry. Embraced by large picture windows, the space is open to the kitchen and dining room. The great room opens to a shaded and relaxing deck that extends the entertaining flow outdoors.
Culinary delights await in the gourmet kitchen which features polished granite counters, glass-front cabinetry, top-tier stainless steel appliances, and an island offering additional prep space. A two-seat breakfast bar faces the windows making it the ideal spot to start the day. The dining room enjoys beautiful views and nearby glass doors open out to the private screened porch.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a sophisticated sitting room with an arched entry from the main foyer with a custom built-in for extra display space or storage.
The first-floor guest bedroom offers high ceilings, high windows and an en suite bath with tiled floor and granite topped vanity.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom is a serene retreat with a vaulted ceiling and architectural beams, arched windows ushering in the light and a glass door leads to a private covered porch with lovely golf and lagoon views. The primary bathroom features tile flooring, granite-topped double vanity, tiled walk-in shower, and a separate soaking tub.
The two additional bedrooms upstairs have beautifully vaulted ceilings, with architectural details and arched windows, ample space for privacy, tile and granite appointed bathrooms, and access outside to a second-level veranda.

No smoking, no pets, and no events

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

The kitchen was large enough and was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I would expect a rental of this costs to have a few more supplies. Dish soap, paper towels etc.
