Short Walk to Lifts and Gondola, Private Balcony Overlooks Dercum Square!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom corner unit condo sleeps 8 with a king bed in the primary, queen sleeper sofa, queen Murphy bed, and queen bunk beds. It features a private balcony overlooking Dercum Square that has an ice rink during the winter and a miniature golf course during the summer. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs.

The living area features a flat screen TV and cozy furniture where you can warm up in front of the gas fireplace. It has also has a king sleeper sofa and a queen-sized murphy bed. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. Off of the living area is the private balcony that offers mountain views and overlooks Dercum Square that has an ice rink during the winter and a miniature golf course during the summer.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two bathrooms is just down the hall and has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. There's also a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom features queen-sized bunk beds and a flat screen TV. Both bedrooms and the Murphy bed are on our Ivory White Bedding program.

Beautiful off-season resort

Beautiful drive over Loveland pass into Keystone. Easy check in, even though they require you to pick up keys in separate location. The apartment was beautiful and clean.

Great weekend getaway

Perfect location! Steps away from the village and all the restaurants and shops. We visited during octoberfest and how great to have a place so close. The place was clean and comfortable, but could use a refresh. The furniture was well-worn and the walls could use a paint job.

Review on Keystone Unit Mar 2-7

I originally submitted a review with 5 stars noted in each category. I did not wish to add comments, but since VRBO has returned my review and requested a re-write, I will say that the condo elevator to the parking garage was broken (and had apparently been broken for 3 weeks or more). We hauled our suitcases and food supplies 6 flights to our unit. The unit was in a great location and very clean although it showed wear and tear. The kitchen was adequately supplied except for no pitcher and the crock pot lid was missing the handle. None of this would prevent us from renting the unit again. The property management communication was satisfactory and they responded to the one question I had prior to our stay in a timely fashion.

I try not to be too nitpicky but there were concerns for cleanliness to include trash/food under floor heaters, a few pieces of furniture that someone stuck their gum on (prob kids), things such as that. I would guess it just hasn’t had a good deep cleaning but a few “light” cleanings. Furniture was a little worn out, the living room Roku and tv were all out of whack but we didn’t spend much time there. Great location, easy to check in and out, I would stay here again certainly but would prob look for something with higher stars first.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great condo in a great location on the 2nd floor and close to the River Run lifts. Epic Ski Rental/Ski school is located on the first floor of the building. Parking is heated under the building. Elevator to parking was broken so moving In/Out was a bit more difficult but workable. This condo has plenty of space, beds and seating for 6-8 people comfortably. The wifi worked fine, the TVs had some streaming services to watch. The beds were comfortable. We did not use the laundry but there are a couple of locations in the building (not in the condo). The ski locker on the first floor is convenient. Food in the village is pricey but the condo kitchen worked great to save some. There is a small grocery/convenience store located near the condo in the village with a decent selection. The seating is comfortable although the recliner needs replaced. The gas fireplace was nice and warmed the living area quickly. There are box fans in each bedroom for air movement and white noise when sleeping. There is a small safe for valuables. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The 1st floor had seating, pool tables, TVs and a hot tub but we did not use those amenities. Next door to the ice skating. The rental process, check-in and check-out with SCMR was quick and easy. Great vacation location. Nice condo. We would and probably will rent it again.
