Nice place to stay. Very short walking distance to everything and with a bike it’s very easy to get around. The drawback was the lack of parking. It added an additional $100,- fee for 3 nights

Blue shutter house

Property was great.....alittle close to neighbors but walk to town which was great. Parking is a huge problem and needs to be stressed alot more and where to park, also beaches are really far away and that needs to be stressed as well. House is not sound proof....people walking up and down street all night, roosters very loud all night and air conditioning unit is very loud.

Island quickie

The Tides was small but it is Key West. Had everything we needed except parking but we made do. Place was spotless and well stocked for our 2 night stay. Whitney was great in helping us with an early check in. Location 2 short blocks off of Duval. Nice neighborhood.

Great Place to Unwind

This property was very clean and conveniently located. Only one block from Duval, it is very quiet there, and the resident neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. I felt completely in touch with the management, but never "pestered." Parking is a bit of an issue, but nothing that isn't common to Key West. Couldn't have been a better stay - thank you!

Great little place to stay close to Duvall St. We were able to walk just about everywhere. We never even moved our vehicle. House was clean and commutation with the management company was great. I would totally recommend for a couple or very small family due to the size. When putting out the pull out sofa it leaves very little room to get to the restroom. Overall, great location and experience.

Good space, good location

Overall we had a great time here. It was conveniently located and we were able to walk every where. It is small but the space suited 2 adults and 2 medium size dogs fine. This house is divided into 3 spaces or rentals and it was easy to hear noise from the sidewalk and street in the house as well... conversations, roosters, drunken people walking home, all of it. This is probably on par with most places in the area but it did interfere with our stay some.

Great location

Great location. Parked the car, and rented bikes from shop on corner. Nicely appointed. Everything we needed, except a can opener. We read reviews prior to booking. Read review from a guest who complained about odor in bathroom. I thought that person was probably exaggerating, but I was wrong. Very strong musty odor from bathroom. Had to keep the door closed when we were out, so that the whole unit wouldn’t smell like the bathroom. Otherwise, unit was great!

Love Tides

Let me start by saying we come to Key West at least twice per year sometimes more. And have been for 15 years. This is one of the best places we have stayed. The place was spotless. The check in process couldn’t be easier. The communication with the property manager (Melanie) was phenomenal. Place has everything you need and more. Only slight complaint was the mattress. Could be a nicer mattress. But maybe I’m spoiled. And I wish they would have listed in the amenities section that they have a Keurig coffee maker, a regular coffee maker, and a washer and dryer. I hauled a coffee maker down for no reason. But I highly recommend this place. I will stay there again.

Great location, except for light sleepers

This place has an excellent location. It is 1 block from Duval and close to many attractions and restaurants. We always found free parking close. The unit itself is very clean and attractive. The reservation process was very easy and communication with the property managers was excellent. Very easy to reserve. An opportunity for the property managers.....ensure supplies are available upon arrival. On our first day, we had to acquire kleenex and toilet paper. I consider those basic supplies that I would expect at any rental. Main reason for my 3 rating is noise. This is not the fault of the property managers, but I am writing for others considering this property. It really is a great unit, but having the bedroom in the front of the property does cause noise issues. People continuously talk about chickens. They do make noise at all hours of the night. I would highly recommend people bring earplugs if they rent this unit. Besides the chickens, you'll hear traffic at all hours, especially early morning. If sleeping is not important or noise does not bother you, I highly recommend this place because it is a great value.

Quirky little conch house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a clean place to stay. While this sleeps four, I would suggest this is a great place for a couple. This is a home that is divided up and does have a shared W & D in an outside lean to available for use. HVAC is in the closet and kind of noisy and the pillows were flat but there were extra pillows so all good! Essentially, you are staying in a tiny space, maybe 580 sq. ft or so. When you walk in, you walk into the bedroom which is a perfect size, but if you want solitude, be aware the bedroom is close to the street. We didn't mind because the place is updated and we wanted to stay in a historic area close to everything but not quite on Duvall. Also, we aren't in Key West to sit in a VRBO! We are on the go, go! We rolled our suitcases from the Key West Express, stopping at B. O.'s Fish wagon first so from the terminal it is totally walkable. We have stayed several different places in Key West and this was a fun place to stay and convenient. I would only suggest refreshing pillows and get rid of the air curling brush, eek! Staff was professional and kept in touch via app and text which is appreciated.

Pictures are deceiving

The front entry requires a thorough cleaning, which was very disappointing after viewing the photos. The place is quite small, and the images were misleading. Although it was reasonably clean, the shower curtain/hooks had rust stains. Not a big deal.Additionally, it would be helpful to find a way to cover the bedroom window shade, as anyone can look directly into the bedroom since it faces the road. I ended up using a towel to cover it. While the noise level is noticeable, it's manageable. One major downside is the lack of parking. I was led to believe that street parking was available (no parking at unit), but it's RARE to find a spot. I was also advised we could pay for a certain parking lot, but I wasn't informed that it was 15 blocks away, which is not enjoyable walking in the rain. Just wasn't what we expected.

Disappointing

OK property, bed is hard, couch is very uncomfortable and scratchy. Pests inside in kitchen sink and bathroom ( red mites). I asked for a late check out day of departure for noon, was declined. Check in is at 4pm. You would think they would be more accommodating

Great place!

This is really a great space for a couple that enjoys being near the scene but not totally in the middle of the scene. Easy walk to both sides of the island and Duval street. We sat on the front stoop every evening and enjoyed the passersby and traffic. It’s a little noisy from the scooters and golf carts because you are close to the road but it still sleeps comfortably. Nice, cool and dark.Highly recommend using Beth at the concierge service. We had groceries waiting for us and set up a spa day thru her as well. Absolutely love key west and this a great spot to stay!

Stay at 812 Simonton St

Excellent location. Main issues were most windows did not open and most were smoked glass so not much natural light. The bedroom was in the front on a busy street so quite noisy.Overall we loved the location and the process interacting with the property manager.
