"It was in a decent location and was clean. However it did smell of something and the smell was difficult to shake… even with the windows and doors left open. There were lots of little things missing: no dish towels to dry dishes, no effective plug in sink to do dishes, no bread knife to cut bread, no iron or ironing board, no where to hang washing. "The location was so beautiful by the waters edge and convenient. The staff were super helpful and very friendly .The food is excellent and portions generous . We were able to sample everything on the menu during our stay The whole experience was a breath of fresh air If I had one very small request USB ports in rooms would be great but most certainly not a deal breaker"

"We arrived well before the check-in time and the receptionist was very friendly and amenable. It took ten minutes and our rooms were ready and we could check in. The room was lovely, massive and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets, duvet, pillows were all very clean. There was a good choice for breakfast. All staff were very helpful. The grounds are lovely. I would definitely come here again."
