Large DVD movie selection. 2 block walk to the river, less than a mile to downtown. Quiet neighborhood you can hear the river from the patio table. Kernville has a award winning brewery about 2mi. from the house. Kernville is approx. 25 miles from Trail of 100 giants (Redwood forest).

Great space, very clean. The host was so kind to talk with me and answered the questions I had. The only thing that would have been helpful to add to the book they had with restaurant and activity ideas, would be a map or directions for where you can either walk or drive to get to the river. I thought you could get to the river from across the house since it was listed as "1 block from the river," but accessibility to the river wasn't 1 block away.

The owners were very nice and easily to communicate with. The home interior was very old with 2 broken recliners and a fridge that didn’t keep our food or drinks cold.
