Tranquil, cozy and private
We stayed at Laurel Rose Cottage while on our Northland holiday. It was the perfect spot being so close to Kerikeri and central to other places we were visiting. We loved chilling out on the deck in the evening, wandering through the gorgeous garden and sampling oranges from the orchard while enjoying the company of native birds. The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean. We especially loved the unique furniture pieces and art throughout the cottage.

Loved the house
It was a great experience. Most of the time we are out. Single bathroom for 5 adults and a kid was a bit inconvenient . Otherwise we had nice time in the mornings. .

Lovely rural setting
We really enjoyed the peace and sense of outdoor space. No looking into neighbour's property here, just nature, mature gardens and more. Loved squeezing oranges too. Thanks, really enjoyed our stay.

A Little Slice of Paradise
The setting is stunning, the house was extremely clean and slightly quirky with regards to some of the furnishing, we loved this. There was everything you would ever need and more. The hosts Laurel and Steve were brilliant as was the caretaker. We will definitely return and will recommend Laurel Rose Cottage to others

Amongst the orchards
2 nights here with nearly everything we needed. House big enough for family of 5. Main bed softer than I'm used to but still slept well. Road noise could be heard, possibly partly due to extra traffic while SH1 closed for repairs. But it didn't affect our enjoyment or sleep. Laundry only has a washing machine, no dryer for rainy days. We loved the short walk to Rainbow Falls. I would have liked more info about Keri Keri and northland available. eg places to visit like historic sites, galleries, eateries, shops, etc.

A base from which to explore
Thank you for a wonderful stay! A perfect cozy cottage for our family to stay in between adventures in the Kerikeri Paihia area. Super clean and kitchen had everything we needed. And the oranges were delicious! Thank you! Highly recommended. Should we be in the area again we will be back!

A pleasant stay
The overall experience during our stay was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place as a great option for accommodation in Kerikeri, especially if you're looking for proximity to the bay of islands and a variety of activities. However, we did encounter a minor inconvenience with power and water on the day of our check-out. It would have been helpful if we were informed about this beforehand so that we could have planned accordingly.

Loved the cottage, worked well for us as a family, love the outside deck and cover with a lovely wooden table and chairs for eating at. Our grandson enjoyed picking some oranges and squeezing them and then eating them, Enjoyed the garden setting. we had a great 3 days in the area. Thanks

Gorgeous get away
Our whanau absolutely loved our stay, such a lovely and tranquil place, you wouldn't think the main highway was about 100 metres down the road. Lovely to wake up and look out at the orchard.

Absolutely magical
It's hard to describe what a wonderful time we had staying in your beautiful house, surrounded by an orange orchard. It was so clean and cosy that we didn't want to leave and do any sightseeing. We loved the freshly squeezed orange juice we made from the oranges we picked. Thank you so much, we would love to come back.

Overall pleasant stay on beautifully managed grounds
A very well tended and private setting with an abundance of fruit trees. Furniture is a bit tired with some mild odd smells. Kitchen utensils are adequate, but be prepared to bring all spices and salt/pepper if you wish to cook. Some difficulties with wifi during the stay and fortunately the property manager partially rectified it the next day. Hot water did go out on the last morning for unknown reason.

We had a lovely stay here, with beautiful gardens to enjoy and oranges to pick. The house is very private so perfect for our large family, and very comfortably furnished, with a lovely deck to enjoy views over the garden. Would recommend as a base for exploring Kerikeri.

A gorgeous cottage in KeriKeri
Our stay was very enjoyable despite the very wet weather that covered the whole Island that week. It couldn't been a nicer place to be staying under the circumstances. We were very cosy and had a beautiful view to look out on. We needed to have a repair to the toilet seat and this was done so quickly after we contacted the owner. The Property Manager came straight away and was lovely - very impressed. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need plus beautiful grounds to look out on. Very close to all the sights in KeriKeri and it was a short drive to Paihia to spend a day in Russell when the weather cleared a bit. Highly recommend.

Beautiful surrounding gardens and orchard. Great to have mosquito screens on the windows at night. We were five adults staying. Only downfall was the internet was a week signal (can't have the TV on and multiple people using internet). Would definitely stay there again 🥰
