Royal Kona Resort
We stayed 3 nights and the Royal Kona is close to shops and restaurants. The property is showing its age and some areas are under renovation. Staff were helpful and baggage and valet staff were working their tails off.

Aston Kona by the Sea
Rooms were clean. The ocean view was spectacular. The staff were friendly. Parking is available. Traffic is an issue. No serious restaurant nearby. If one can afford it, consider using a shuttle service to get around.

Kona Bali Kai
It had adequate parking and plenty of towels. Wish we had noticed a beach chair in one of the closets. Check in and out was super easy. I thought it'd be a little closer to all the shops and restaurants but oh well. It had a window unit AC in the living room only so the bedroom could get a little ...
