    We are glad to say that in our 16 years of ownership of this property, we have not experienced any damage from a Hurricane or Tsunami at this location. It is good practice, however, to have an emergency plan in place as this property is located in a Tsunami Evacuation Zone. Please see the map below which details the preferred routes and emergency locations for both Hurricane and Tsunami Warnings. In essence, Hurricane Shelter is provided at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center, one block West; and in case of Tsunami Warning, local residents drive up the close by Highway 552 towards Waimea Canyon / Koke`e Park. Most experts say that once you are at least 100 feet above sea level, you are out of Tsunami danger. This can be accomplished in approximately a five-minute drive from the house. Our stay at this VRBO in Kauai was absolutely perfect! The location was stunning—so close to the ocean that we could hear the waves and enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. The home itself was spacious and well-equipped, comfortably accommodating our large group with plenty of room to relax.The host was fantastic—she responded quickly to all our messages and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing folding chairs and a tent for the park. The house was amazing! We had a group of eight adults, and there was still room for children if necessary. The owners were awesome and I can’t thank them enough for our stay. The Ocean View and patio was just perfect for us. We preferred a desolate side of the island, and this was great. Thank you for our stay, we will be back!

Kauai Vacation

This location is amazing. We have 7 people in our party and the accomodations were fitting for everyone. The patio faces out towards the ocean and it is an amazing view. We did have to drive about 45 mins to our excursions, but it was well worth it. The property owners are amazing and stayed easily accessible during my entire trip. 10/10 would recommend this location if you plan on making a trip to Kauai.

Great views of the Pacific. Quiet side of the island. Within driving distance of everything. Nice great room and good size bedrooms. Communication with owner was great. If there were any issues or questions they responded quickly. Overall a great place to stay and i would again if visiting Kauai.

Amazing property

This property exceeded our expectations!!! House was huge, clean and filled with everything we needed for the week. The kids loved their personal little beds. You can watch the waves all day!

The house was large enough for our party of nine. The teens loved the foosball table and everyone enjoyed the deck. The stars at night were amazing. There were plenty of plates, glasses, and place settings of silverware. We had several beach towels and chairs to use on the beach. We did end up driving to Lihue and beyond a few times but the house and laid back Waimea area offset the drive to activities.

Family Vacation

You could not find a better place to stay while on Kauia. Jules is a wonderful host. Did not get a chance to meet Patrick but I'm sure he's wonderful also We had to bother her a couple of times for minor things and she was always there to help. The house was clean, and the accommodations were great. Our favorite part was spending time on the balcony and looking out at the amazing ocean view. Excellent Family Trip

The home and location were perfect for our big family. We loved spending time on the balcony and particularly appreciated that each room, except for one, has its own bathroom. We also wanted to be on the drier side of the island, with easy access to Waimea Canyon hikes and the beach in Poipu. This home was perfect for that. That said, we were pleasantly surprised with the beach down the street from the house. It’s quieter and much less crowded than the beaches up north, and beautiful! Overall, 10/10 stay. Finally, the hosts were the best. Jules and Patrick checked in throughout the trip and provided great recommendations — they are some of the most attentive and thoughtful hosts we have encountered.

Girls Week

We rented this home as a girls only vacation. The listing is accurate, the view is amazing, and the house is plenty big for larger groups. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided us with some assistance as well as great meal recommendations. It is aways away from some things but it was just what we were looking for. It is an island afterall so you can get anywhere in less than 90 minutes. We were 20 minutes from our whale watching cruise and you are right next to the road that takes you to Waimea Canyon. We even took a trip to Princeville and got there in less than 90 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Balcony of Serenity

The balcony view steals the show, a beautiful way to start your day with coffee on this balcony. The house did not disappoint. We were 3 families totaling 10 with plenty of room and space for everyone comfortably. 4 master bedrooms with private restrooms in each. Had an additional bedroom for lil children attached to upstairs master with another single bedroom. We had a few issues but nothing major that the owners didn't address right away. The only thing I would recommend is make renters aware if you or others will be entering the home while guests are out for repairs and make sure it's ok prior to making those arrangements. Would highly recommended this rental. Got to experience the calm South side of Kauai near Waimea. If you are looking to stay away from the busy Lihue/North side this is a perfect location.

Beautiful view

Our stay included 9 adults and 3 children. This house defiantly had plenty of room for all of us. We very appreciative of all the accommodations for the grandchildren. We had mattresses for the toddlers and a crib for the infant. We spent so much time on the deck. The deck has a porch swing and a hammock. Everyone in our group had their own bedroom. Location is somewhat away from some of the more popular things to do on Kauai, but to come back to this house and for everyone to spread out was the way to go for us. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Most of all our time was spent upstairs. Owner was available for any questions or concerns. Most defiantly would recommend this home for a big family. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!!

The best VRBO I’ve Been To

My husband and I just got married in Kauai and were looking for a big home to share with our family and a few close friends for the duration of the trip. I’m SO grateful that we had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home and can say with 1,000% certainty that if we travel to Kauai with a group again we will definitely plan to stay here again! The bedrooms were all nice and there were enough bathrooms that nobody had to share. The house was well stocked and if there was something that we needed Jules was very quick to respond and would get it to us right away! The shared living spaces were perfect for our group to hang out in and the deck and back yard with the ocean view were even better than I could have imagined. Jules also was very helpful when it came to recommendations/updates on things to do while on the island. The one thing that was a challenge was this side of the island seemed to have more mosquitoes, but nothing that some bug spray couldn’t solve! We also enjoyed how quiet and laid-back this part of the island is and it really was SO close to Waimea. After the rest of our group left my husband and I checked into a smaller VRBO for our ‘honeymoon’ and we were just so disappointed with it after staying in this amazing rental. If you’re on the fence about this place, just book it, I guarantee you won’t regret it! While we didn’t have any children in our party, there was an adorable room that had smaller beds for kiddos so it would be perfect for a family!

Large house with plenty of room for 10 adults to enjoy time together as well as alone. Evenings spent relaxing on the lanai watching spectacular sunsets over the ocean waves offered the perfect way to end our sun-soaked days.
