"This is a great place to stay in North Kīhei. Even though this area can get windier at times, it is a great central place to stay on the west side of Maui. We were able to enjoy sight-seeing all over the island without spending too much time driving (even our starting point on the Shaka Guide app for the road to Hana was around 25-30 minutes away). There were many shopping centers and eateries that were only 5-15 minutes away as well. We have used VRBO for various vacations and I have to say that John and Darlene have one of the best equipped condos. I am an over packer and was even more so when it came to staying at their place. We had so many essentials such as staple kitchen and laundry items, beach equipment, toiletries, linens/towels, etc. The condo itself is very clean and perfectly decorated to give you that beach oasis feel. Be aware that the building itself is a little older. The elevator was down for a majority of our stay but this unit is in the 2nd floor so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.Darlene is the main contact when it comes to communication and she is great about responding in a timely manner, especially once your stay has started. "What a wonderful condo!!! Exactly as described, clean, a few steps to the pool, hot tub and ocean. Great place to walk on the beach. We feel it was the best condo in the complex. Linda was a super host!!! Very communicative and just a generally sweet person. We can’t wait to come again. A"

"Did not use Wi-Fi . A/C kept changing the temp up an down. Room was clean. The dishwasher did not want to start except on Heavy Duty, and the ran for 2 hrs. until I canx. it! Fridge was loud. We turned it OFF at night to avoid the noise. 3 knives in silverware drawer had the blades fall off the handle in our hand! Towel rod outside shower was starting to come off the wall. Lanai screen handle was coming off. Screw stripped. Other than the above, it was fairly comfortable."

"Excellent ground floor condo with easy access to the pool and beach. Clean, cozy, and comfortable with everything we needed including a washer and dryer, lots of beach chairs and beach towels and really nice staff. The grounds at the resort are beautiful and we loved the hot dry sauna and the jacuzzi! We will definitely stay here again!"

"It was a great place to stay! We loved the location and the beautiful ocean view. Kids were very loud but that was not the properties fault.We utilized the wonderful grills by the pool area. Felt safe all the time. We even slept with the patio door open to sleep to the sound of the waves. That was my favorite! We will definetly stay here again! Greg had beach chairs and beach towels and a cooler which was really nice!"

"We had a wonderful stay here, especially loving sitting on the lanai watching and photographing whales! The view of the mountains, water and beach is breathtaking. Listening to the waves as we fell asleep at night was so peaceful. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs, and the washer/ dryer handy. The location on the beach is ideal, and also very convenient to many activities, shopping and restaurants and food trucks. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We’d definitely love to return! "
