Ocean Beach, with its hot pools, is 6 minutes driving and Aotea, perfect for a walk on the beach and a swimming, 10 minutes.
Plenty of options to keep you and your loved ones entertained, from charter boats, fishing from the Wharf or if you feel like exploring further, Marakopa Falls and The Natural Bridge (1 hour away).
For the avid fisherman, the property offers a filleting station and a great smoking house!

Great bach in central Kawhia

We enjoyed our stay in Kawhia - the bach is a great size for a small to medium family and has a nice sunny deck. Perfect location just a couple of minutes' walk to the waterfront.

Holiday in Kawhia

We had a really lovely stay in Kawhia. The house was perfect for us, cosy and comfortable and close to town and the beach. Lovely to sit in the sun on the deck and relax. Thankyou!

Peace and tranquility in kawhia

This wee cottage has it all the owner has covered evert event even in the rain we had a great restful time and made the most of it .can't wait to come back

Great place for a family beach getaway

This bach is great for all the family. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect for beach visits and local walks and an easy drive to Waitomo caves. We will be back!

Good Location

Nice compact place to stay, a bit rusty traditional kiwi bach with a fireplace. Our host was very easy to communicate. Only a few minutes walk to the wharf.
