We enjoyed our short stay in this lovely cottage country, close to the Fenelon Falls. The place is clean, Paul the host was prompt to respond to my questions and concerns.
For the fishing enthusiasts, this lake is good for fishing. We caught a lot of fish in a day. My children were thoroughly thrilled and happy.
We took a small vacation away with our teen kids. Location was great, house had lots of space for all of us and was nice and clean. Paul was vwry communicative. Waking up and having coffee overlooking the lake was just perfect! Location is great being close enough to town - we took a few hours to explore one afternoon. We loved having the kayaks to use and one of our kiddos even caught a fish! A fanatastic family vacation was had by all.
Love waking up and seeing the water. So beautiful! 😍
Paul was awesome! Checking in on us making sure things was up to par.
Definitely would come back again. 👍😁
We recently stayed at this cottage for 4 nights. Communication with Paul was great. He is very responsive. The location was beautiful backing onto Cameron Lake. There were no bugs during the day (only at dusk). Water was clear and the dock provided allowed easy access with our water toys and the ones provided. We did run out of paper towels and Kleenex during our stay. Overall we were very happy with the cottage and the experience.
The property was beautiful. Had a fire a night under the stars very peaceful. The cottage was very clean and the rooms were a good size. Would definitely rent this property again.
We were very happy with the cottage. Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived. Everything we needed was there for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen items for us to prepare meals, and a lovely view. We will keep it in mind the next time we are up that way.Thankyou for sharing your cottage with us.Tim & Pat
Fantastic location! The cottage matched the description perfectly. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items. We enjoyed dining at several excellent local restaurants, all within a 10-minute drive. The fishing was impressive; we reeled in two bass weighing over 3 pounds right from the dock. We also rented a boat from the nearby marina and had great success catching numerous bass and a few walleye just 5-10 minutes from the cottage. The kids had a blast with the kayaks and float tubes. Evening campfires were delightful, with a starry sky overhead. Swimming was enjoyable, though there were a few weeds, so I suggest bringing water shoes or slides. The neighboring cottages are quite close together; one side was unoccupied during our stay, while the other side was occupied by a lovely, quiet couple. So, if you're looking for seclusion, this may not be the best choice. Overall, there were many positives about this place, and we would certainly consider returning.
Lovely quiet neighbourhood on a beautiful lake with amazing views. Great location. Reasonably comfortable beds. The unit is surface cleaned.Other than that the cottage is extremely basic, poorly supplied and in dire need of numerous repairs. Too many to list but one example is the downstairs sliding door which has no latch and lock. Just a piece of wood to set in the slider. The couches are very cheap and uncomfortable. There are no baking dishes, mixing bowls, casseroles or serving dishes. Not even paper towels or food wrap which are always a given. The internet is frustratingly slow, sometimes off line. Streaming is not possible.Only after booking and paying will you be advised to bring your own drinking water. The outdoor cushions are left outside, they were wet and filthy with rotting leaves so unusable. All of this is such a shame because the house has so much potential and is in an upscale neighbourhood.
