"The room was large and very comfortable for our group of four (two adults and two teenagers). We especially enjoyed the private thermal pool, which was an awesome addition. However, we did notice that some of the fixtures in the room are a bit dated, particularly the toilet. Updating these elements would significantly improve the overall experience. "Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were well maintained and had an authentic feel, although the shower was a bit difficult to keep at a consistent temperature. Beds were comfy. Pool was a bit chilly. The location was a bit of a drive from Arenal and La Fortuna, so I was glad that we had rented a vehicle to get around. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend to others looking to stay in the area. "

"Overall, a great property with a great experience for families, but the front desk staff are not trained to handle a large volume of tourists so plan accordingly. I would suggest a minimum of 3 nights for good experience of the resort. "

"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours that included various hotel pick ups and no hotel compared to the beauty of this property, even other five star hotels. I would definitely stay here again. "
