I appreciated the improvements to the rooms I stayed in, compared to past trips. This included such things as better lighting, or better shower layout. Location is fairly convenient to access all things in Thamel, and taxis were readily available at the hotel for daytime excursions. Breakfast was abundant, and staff were universally helpful and smiling. Their friendliness certainly enhanced the comfort and joy of my stay. I have stayed here multiple times in past years and would return!

There were upgrades since the last time I stayed, including for the shower and room decors. Staff was particularly kind and helpful, which certainly influences my review. There is no elevator, but staff are accommodating based on patron needs. I appreciated that this hotel is off of one of the main streets and not on it; noise would be much greater on larger streets. Breakfast was ample for my needs.

The best thing about this hotel is the people who work here. Some of the most genuine people I’ve met. They really are here to support you and make sure you have a good time. Also great location. Clean rooms. Warm water for showering with good pressure. Beautiful rooftop terrace.

This place is a hidden gem that I have stayed in on two separate trips to Nepal. There are many places in this price range, but I have found few Who is facilities are so well-maintained. The staff is one of the main reasons I will return. A great location to stay if you’re hoping to be right in the middle of it all in Themal

EXCELLENT!!

EXCELLENT STAY, 10/10!!! The staff is so nice and location is great! We went to EBC trekking for 12 days and they kept some of our luggages while we were away. We came back after our adventure for our last night in Katmandou and we had an excellent service. We recommend this hotel.

Hotel Friend's Home had excellent service. There is 24 hr check in which is great for international travel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's affordable but they will treat you like you're a 5 star client. Pro-tip if you're sight seeing or need a cab they can hook you up with the best deal!

The staff is absolutely amazing. Raj was wonderful helping me with taxis, excursions, and even helped me with my phone when it was having issues. Bicum, Nisan, Noraj and Ram are awesome. They are extremely friendly, helpful and kind. They all really made my stay very nice. The hotel is in a great location, with many shops and restaurants in close walking distance. The breakfast is very good as well. And the cook is very good. I spent three very enjoyable weeks at this hotel. I look forward to returning in the future.

Stay here again for sure

If travelling to Kathmandu I thoroughly recommend this Hotel as your base. In Thamel but quiet enough at night to get a restful sleep. More importantly the manager sets an amazing tone and welcomes you warmly from the get go. Nice to be greeted by forst name basis. All other staff are friendly too. Rooms spacious . No faults here!!! Well done to everyone here, it’s appreciated

This hotel had excellent reviews. The price was good, so I booked it. I was not disappointed. The manager, Raj & his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I could feel the warmth & friendship of the hotel as soon as I arrived. Nothing is to much trouble for them. I leave today for Pokhara, but will come back & stay here again next week when I return. Strongly recommend this hotel. You simply can not go wrong staying here. Its excellent.

Too much smoke from people smoking. Other visitors talking loudly on the phone in the hallways is very disturbing and disrespectful ruining our rest. They should talk on their room.
