Kan til nød brukes etter min mening.

Hotellet i seg selv ligger veldig fin til, bare 200 m å gå til ei travel og moro gate med mange butikker og bare 2,7 km å gå til 3 flotte butikksenter hvor standarden ikke står tilbake for norske senter. Der hadde de alt og mer til. Også kort vei til markedsgater hvor det krydde av salgsboder i fleng, hvor en kan prute på prisen, noe jeg anbefaler å gjøre. Det første rommet var av miserabel standard, og sto ikke i stil med hva som reklameres for. En klage førte til at jeg fikk et bitte litt bedre rom, men utsikten var like kjedelig. Utsikt rett i en skitten bakgård hvor det ble jobbet hele dagen med bråkete verktøy, og hvor det bodde fugler som holdt et forferdelig leven døgnet rundt. Aircondition virket ikke, så om kvelden var tempen bare rundt 12 grader på rommet. Ikke noe særlig på dagtid heller, da rommet lå i fullstendig skygge. Ingen utsikt som er verd å nevne. Skitne vegger, gulv, (måtte vise renholdsbetjeningen hvordan gulv vaskes), skap og tildels ødelagte vinduer, sengegavelen skitten. Badet med store vannskader fra rommet rett over. Ingen stikkontakter var i orden, men kunne til nød brukes. Ingen brannvarslere, ingen skilting om rømningsveier, ingen nødutganger. Betjeningen var fantastisk etter forholdene å bedømme, de gjorde sitt beste, så betjeningen er jeg godt fornøy med.

Un accueil très froid, j'avais réservé une chambre deluxe vue jardin et le propriétaire m'a assuré que j'avais réservé une chambre standard alors que je lui montrais le mail de confirmation. Après discussion, il me dit qu'il va me donner une chambre "super deluxe". Clairement, de l'ironie. Résultat, une grande chambre certes, vue rue, une salle de bain sale, de mauvaises odeurs, énormément de bruit dès 5h du matin (provenant du personnel surtout) alors que l'hôtel se trouve dans une impasse, le wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres. Il existe des centaines d'hôtels à Katmandou Thamel, vous pouvez largement trouver mieux au même prix !

Hôtel humide mais dans un lieu calme

Nous avons été déçues de l'état des chambres et de la salle de bain compte tenu des photos et commentaires trouvés sur le net. La chambre non fumeur que nous avions demandée puait la cigarette. Ils ont acceptés de nous changer de chambre mais du coup elle était plus petite. Nous avons eu très froid la nuit, il n'y avait qu'une seule bonne couverture (nous en avons reçu une seconde après demande de notre part) et la forte humidité nous rendait malade. Le "free lift" de l'aéroport n'en est pas vraiment un, le taximen a insisté lourdement et plusieurs fois pour que nous lui donnions un pourboire très généreux, même après avoir été payé par l'hôtel sous nos yeux. A part cela, le personnel est correct, le jardin et les terrasses sont supers, le petit déjeuner très bon.

Close to the centre of Thamel yet very quiet

Great location with very helpful staff. Worst add of the main street but close to the best coffee shop in town "Java". Pickup from airport and always at hand to advise or help. Bath great too.

My stay was really very good and comfortable. The staff took every step to make me happy and upgraded me to a m ore expensive room.The place is located away from noise and pollusion. There is a nice garden sitting area. Wifi has problems in certain areas. A new property, the international brand of Marriot is opening next door which will make this area more attractive and safer. Curreently, a walk from the main road to the proeprty is difficult and unsafe.

'Character' Hotel central to Thamel tourist area

I was staying on my own for 5 days after my daughters had left for home and a little apprehensive. The great thing about this hotel is the people who come through. There is a garden with tables dotted around - make use of this as I met so many nice people and got to go on more adventures. It can be a little challenging with the power being shut off for most of the day but on the whole it was manageable. The food was mostly nice with only one incident of cold/not very nice food.

Nothing to offer

It is not a hotel even worse than many motels in North America. No water, the pot, nothing. They seemed do not care about family and children, they separated my children room in 2nd floor and Ground floor, means separated family in very inconvenienced. They collected money for 30 min 3 children's parachute/paragliding in contracted, they provided less than 10 min. for two kids, one for may be 15min., they used earthquake to bully children and travelers. upset about the situation.

Pour amateurs de jardins et de roof tops.

Le plus de l'hôtel est incontestablement son jardin et ses chants d'oiseaux ainsi que ses roof tops, le reste se situant dans la moyenne de cette catégorie d'établissement à Katmandou. Bien que situé à l'écart de toute circulation, l'hôtel peut se révéler bruyant à certains moments (générateurs de l'hôtel et de l'hôtel voisin, chantiers à proximité). A noter, cependant, que le problème du bruit du générateur électrique est commun à beaucoup d'hôtels locaux du fait des coupures d'électricité récurrentes. Les chambres sont de qualité inégale, vieillottes et peu fonctionnelles en général. Demandez à les voir surtout en basse saison et évitez celles donnant sur le générateur (3ème bloc de bâtiments). La propreté des chambres (sol, rideaux de douche) laisse à désirer sauf pour les serviettes de bain et la literie par ailleurs correcte en qualité. Wifi gratuite un peu capricieuse, eau chaude en permanence et petit déjeuner payant mais copieux. Le service de taxi de l'hôtel vers l'aéroport est cher mais la qualité (ponctualité, véhicule propre avec air conditionné, chauffeur allant vous chercher un trolley à l'arrivée) a un prix.

Apparently staff were present?

Staff were elusive and their advice, considering we arrived late at night was slim to say the least. Woken at 5 am by the fire hose cleaning of foot path outside. Sheets on the bed were unique, like sleeping at the beach, with sand and just a general feeling of not clean.
