"Immediately after booking I needed to change my reservation from 2 nights to 1 night. I followed the prompts on VRBO to change my dates and it led me to message the host. I messaged the host who said it was no problem. After our stay, I saw I was charged for 2 nights. I requested a refund for 1 night. The host said he/she purchased the property the week before my stay and would not be able refund me for the night. He/she offered me another night within the following 12 months but I said I would not be back to that lake. It was a one time trip. I finally had to reach out to VRBO and they said the host would be contacting them to initiate the refund. Almost 2 months later I still have not received a refund. It’s even more suspicious that the host that agreed to change it to one night has the same name as the person that said they just bought the property according to the message thread. This issue could have been resolved so easily."

"The view of the lake was excellent. Water pressure was very good. Everything was clean and the property owner was fast to respond to messages. "

"Was okay for a fishing trip at the last minute, but was certainly not ideal for a couples getaway. Never was able to get on the internet. Key was not left in the room and was delayed in getting on the lake while waiting to get a key. Was definitely not what was expected based upon the picture on the site. I will say that it was clean, and I appreciated that. "

"Did not use the fireplace, the kitchen was well stocked except a couple of things that was needed. I didn't find any wine glasses but we made do fine. The other was heavy duty big spoons for mixing potato salad. All minor things. The kids enjoyed the big screened in back porch."
