The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful rental home! The experience was even better than we expected, and my entire family had such a great time. We made so many wonderful memories together and truly enjoyed our time there.The house was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the property.The animal farm was such a fun and unique part of the property, it was wonderful being able to experience something different during our stay.Most of all, the owners were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for, and we truly appreciate their hospitality. I especially want to thank them for the sweet gift of our kitty. We feel so lucky to have her, and she will be loved and cherished forever. This was more than just a rental—it was a truly special experience that our family will remember for a long time. We are very grateful to the owners for their kindness and generosity. We highly recommend staying here, and we would absolutely love to come back again!"

"The cabin was nice, matched the pictures online. It was also very clean, only 2 or so spills in the fridge which just took a quick wipe. The ac worked better on 1st level than on 2nd but kind of expected as one downstairs is a wall ac and upstairs it was a smaller window unit. We fit 5 adults and 3 kids comfortably. They had firewood very close to the cabin which was nice, and the view of starts in the large field across the cabin was great! They are pet friendly so we were able to bring our cat, loved that! Check in was very smooth & they were accomidating to us having a very late check in. I also really liked how you didnt need keys to access the cabin, used a pin at door which was convinient as there was no worries on losing a set of keys. Would definetly go again! :)"

"Very cute, clean and cozy house. Loved the decor. The beds were very comfy. It has motion sensor night lights to help you navigate through the night. Especially helpful in the lower level and on the staircase. Would definitely stay again!"

"The bungalow was a good efficiency space with an excellent kitchen appliances and everything you need to cook meals. My favorite time was to sit on the porch and watch the river flow. It was so relaxing. There were trails you could walk. I remember one evening, I was stressed and went for a walk. It was so quiet with nothing but birds chirping their songs. It was so nice to be in quiet space for a couple of days."
