Short stay in Kaohsiung

Good location, 5mins walk from City Council MRT Station. Friendly front desk staff, room was clean, good size, bed was comfy with decent sheets, not enough outlets for devices, no USB ports. Breakfast is standard for this price range. Best feature was the bath tub, which is great for soaking your feet after a long day of walking

Lovely hotel

A very nice hotel. Location close to a lot of things. Breakfast was good, but difficult finding a table. We stayed at the hotel for three night. We came around 8am, 9am and in between. Every day it was almost full of people. Also the kitchen couldnโ€™t keep up filling up the trays. The staff at the reception were very sweet and helpful. The cleaning was ok, but they forgot to give us water, so we went out buying some bottles. We stayed there during Lunar New Year. We knew there would be many people at the hotel. The funny thing was, you only noticed it during breakfast. Also no traffic in the streets so canโ€™t tell if the quiet room is normal.

This is not a 4 star hotel at all. Probably not even a 1 star hotel. The rooms are very old and dated. We found mold growing in the bathrooms. The tapware was falling apart. The fridge does not get cold. The air conditioner is faulty and blows out musty/moldy smelling air. The mold smell is very strong.
