"Beautiful room, very pretty hotel, decent food. However the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. Doors slamming around the clock, too close to main road. In hotels defense there was a car rally going on the 2 days we stayed. Avoid this area the first weekend of may if possible. Unfortunate because the room is gorgeous. Maybe just an unpleasant experience for us. Good luck"

"Such a beautiful area, just like the pictures online. Martha met us when we arrived and showed us several things. She was very responsive in communicating with us and We really enjoyed having our own personal rooms and bathrooms for two couples! Sheep right outside the front door! It was great!!"

"Beautiful period property in quiet rural location, 15 minutes drive to shops, pubs & restaurants. Contactless checkin/out. The host, Ger, suggested picking up supplies prior to our arrival which was helpful. We saw him just the one time, when we phoned for him to come by to help with the oven and replace the light bulb upstairs. He was very friendly and invited us to explore the property freely. Our only suggestions would be to improve the lighting in the bedrooms e.g. bed side tables with lamps. Also the family ancestor photographs could be moved into an album so that guests could enjoy them if they chose to. Overall we enjoyed our 4 days at the farmhouse and would recommend it to friends and family. "
