The staff is great. The property is showing its age in a lot of areas. There is the restaurant and a single pub nearby. The people at the pub weren’t friendly. I’d probably rather stay somewhere with a bit more to do nearby.

Sweet relief.

It was such a sweet relief to have a big comfy bed and soft pillows. And a deep tub with hot water! Staff was all wonderful and food was delicious!

Fantastic

Great service, excellent food. We stayed for 5 nights 2 rooms and needed an Accessible Bath. The management helped us in any way with mapquest to find directions to locales, they were never rushed and gave us their utmost attention. Food was excellent. Great location.

Big hotel with tacky advertisements (banners, pamphlets, TV screens) throughout lobby. Run down rooms, especially bathroom. Very bright green LED in bathroom ceiling floods the entire room with light. Thin walls and ceiling.

Stayed one night. First floor single room. Unfortunately we had some bad luck. First few hours of the evening their were kids running up and down the hallway. Crazy that the front desk employees wouldnt say anything to the parents who sat in the lobby. Dinner was good ! 4am comes along. The fire alarm goes off for 20 minutes. Stayed here based off the reviews. Would take a second look around next time.

Great place to stay

This is a great little hotel, lots of parking, easy to walk to shopping, the in hotel resturant offers a fabulous breakfast and dinner. The hotel its self is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the area is quiet and easy to get to. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and as a whole our stay there was relaxing.

Las habitaciones amplias.

El hotel está bien. Las habitaciones son muy grandes. Había cama xa 4 y aún así era grande. El sitio viene de paso si vas de killarney a moher o a galway, y para pasar la noche está muy bien. El baño está algo viejo, pero es cómodo. El desayuno es en el restaurante, algo raro para nosotros, pero estuvo bien. En el restaurante se come bien, pero no son muy agradables. Si te viene de paso es muy recomendable. Pero no como para cambiar tu ruta. Está ubicado entre la carretera y la carretera, aunq el lugar es muy silencioso.

Good and Clean

Our family has stayed here many times. Family lives near and it’s convenient to New Castle West. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good. I always enjoy the full Irish! It’s not luxurious, but if you’re in Newcastle West you’ll be comfortable and pleased.
