This is a disgruntled guest, because they have caused damage at the property and I had to file a claim against them. They knocked a big mirror off the wall and soiled the wall with black marks we had to repaint. They also had a lot to drink and were a nuisance to the neighbors. Our location is one of the best in downtown, right next to Children's Mercy, Ronald McDonald house etc. Great restaurants within half a block. Our decor is a little different, but we did it for the fun of it... for people who want something new and fun. All the rooms of the house have photos posted for all to see. He shouldn't have been surprised by the clown art. Also we will be glad to take those off and replace with different art of needed, as we have done that for others before. Yes we only have one TV in the living room. It is ROKU capable and is hooked up to watch all local news and sports programs. We assumed that folks travel to a new place to explore the city and to spend time with family and friends and not to watch TV all day. But the TV is in the living room surrounded by couches, perfect for a game night too. We have two full bathrooms, each with its own shower/tub. And on top of that we have a jacuzzi room on the top floor. Most of these old houses don't have that many bathrooms, it's pretty unique, and we have never had anyone saying there isn't enough bath. We also have a tankless water heater, so you never run out of hot water either. It's all in the photos for all to see. And we have 5 bedrooms and 6 king beds. All these king mattress are high end hotel quality mattresses. They are some of the most comfortable ones I've tried in my life. In summary, we are proud of the product we have created. We put in a lot of work and effort to keep our place welcoming and comfortable for large groups. We look forward to hosting you and show our hospitality!

Eileen, Thanks again for staying with us! I would say this is one of the safest neighborhoods in downtown area. We are within 200 feet of Truman medical /children's mercy hospital and UMKC medical school. Lots of medical students park on street and then walk around to and from school. If it's not winter time, it would be a great walk to Crown center, a super trendy shopping/entertainment area, per google maps a 15 minute walk. Visit us again in warmer weather and I'm sure you will enjoy it better (for walkers!) Apologize for the lumber sitting outside, we were working on the basement to install laundry area for future guests.
