I could not believe this was a Hilton property!
Bed in room full of goose down feathers, loose!
Came from quilt on bed with huge hole in it.
Breakfast was a joke.
Internet sporadic and then told me I was giving wrong room number and would not connect my device.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Complained to manager....HE DID NOTHING!
No monetary consideration. No offer of discount.
They should just close.

Hi Patrick! Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We did review and investigate the claims, but after you had used vulgar language with our team and insulted our team members, we unfortunately were no longer able to assist you.
Surprise $45 valet parking charge a bit of a scam considering you aren't allowed to self-park prior to check-in.
Charge was not advertised and excessive. Otherwise, the stay was quite nice and in a very convenient walking distance to the T-Mobile Center for event.

We were given a lesser quality room than I booked. We waited an hour and a half longer than our check in time.

An awful odor is present in the hotel. I brought this issue to the the hotel's attention and was told they didn't smell anything at all. I also tried to get Expedia to help, but their text only customer service was way too slow. I left after the first night and did not return.

Unfortunately, this is no longer anything close to a luxury hotel. The hotel is tired and is in serious need of new life. I was initially frustrated by the lack of valet parking - particularly on a very cold night. Then, my initial room would not get warm enough because it had too many windows, so I was moved to a different room. The second room was only marginally warmer. I travel to Kansas City frequently and decided to give The President a shot after having not stayed there for a number of years. There are many better options in downtown Kansas City.
We stayed here because it was so close to the t-mobile center. Very nice room with comfortable beds. Quite too. Although we were not quiet, as my two young boys played and jumped in the room. We got no complaints. This is a beautiful hotel and we really enjoyed our visit.
Beautiful property which was well decorated. Very quiet rooms with really comfortable beds. We slept really well. The only problem was a heavy vanilla-cinnamon scent that was in the entry way by the main desk. It really affected my asthma. I asked about it and front desk clerk started that it was their "signature holiday accent". You could smell it all the way up the elevator. We decided to not try the restaurant because I'd have to walk through it.

Everything was really great and really cool history of the building on display. Great location with lots of food and drink options and the streetcar stop is super close. Easy walk to KC Live! Which is always a fun time. The only thing I could really complain about was there was not a fridge in any of our 3 rooms.

Great location for Power and Light District, food and dining options all around. Easy to Uber/Lyft from there as week. I will state we didn’t like the cologne scent in the lobby.

When we checked in, it was quite chaotic in the lobby. A lot of people checking in for their stay, but the staff were respectful and calm during it all. I did not have issues checking in, but others seemed to be having issues, but the staff kept calm and took care of us all. Two blocks from the concert venue; so that was super convenient.

We never checked in for our stay--I reached out to both Orbitz and the hotel on Wednesdsay, 10/25 to cancel my stay (understanding that it was outside of the cancelation policy). Orbitz reached out to the hotel to request that the cancelation fee be waived and never heard back. Our credit card was charged for the entire stay. My husband and I had both tested positive for Covid and unable to attend the Pink concert.
