Girls Getaway

Had a great time for a girls weekend away. Nice and close to Kangaroo Valley shops and cafes. Loved the citrus trees in the backyard and the cows wandering past. Thankyou.

A wonderful family getaway

Thank you Terrene and John, we had the most fabulous family Christmas getaway. The house was so well equipped there was nothing we could asked for. Such a beautiful property and all the beds and couches were so comfortable. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming and we appreciated the lovely welcome Christmas gift.

Amazing stay

The property is everything I read on the reviews and more. The relaxing feeling of the views in the morning is hard to describe. The house is perfect for family time together but also offers privacy for rest. Very clean and comfortable beds and a well supplied kitchen. The gardens and overall green is very well kept. We will be back.

Family Retreat

Property was is excellent location and the surroundings were very scenic and the grounds were a great area for the kids to play. Some of the lights need replacing but the property overall was very well presented. thank you to the hoists

Good place for a group.

We enjoyed our stay at Millet house. The house was on a lovely country property with beautiful views every direction and a quick drive into the little town of Kangaroo Valley. There was lots of room in the house for all our families and the kids loved the pool. Communication with Terrene and John was easy and they always replied quickly. Check in was easy as well.

Family Christmas

My family travelled from Newcastle and South West Rocks to spend three nights with me Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Millet house had everything we needed and that is saying a lot since my sister is a chef. The views were spectacular and sunrises were amazing. The hosts gave us an early check in and an extra nights accommodation. Beautiful property and my son was definitely interested in the wedding venue. Will definitely be back. Thanks for helping my family make some new memories.

Great time, great view

We had such a great stay, it’s a character filled house with a great pool in a great locations with an epic view. We would have loved the house to be a little bit cleaner. We’re not ‘clean freaks’ or anything, but simple cleaning bugs and things from corners would have been great. Fly screens on all the windows would have also been great, especially in the hot weather.

A magical weekend and forever memories

I am nearly a year late writing this review but think about our time at the Millet House nearly every day. I enjoyed a magical weekend here with family and friends to celebrate my birthday last October. We also booked one of the other smaller cottages to host additional family members who travelled from interstate. Both properties had all the amenities you could ask for, with charm and character to match. The view and surroundings are absolutely spectacular and hard to put into words. It's one of those places where forever wouldn't have felt long enough. We had perfect weather but enjoyed the fireplace at night. The bedrooms were so comfortable and can easily accommodate a large family. There was a collective promise that this property would be somewhere we'd travel to again to enjoy quality time as a family, and I hope to make that a reality. Lauren

A hidden gem

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO UNWIND & QUIET

It is lovely to stay here. The Valley is magnificent & you get to see the animals. Reminds me of growing up on a farm. Great if you also have a four legged family member.
