"I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately the experience fell well short of expectations. While the room had clearly been newly refurbished, the design was extremely bland and lacked even basic comforts. There was no complimentary water bottle, nor were there any tea or coffee‑making facilities, which made the room feel quite bare. The bathroom was clean, but there was a persistent, unpleasant stench coming from the toilet area that made it uncomfortable to use. This issue never improved during my stay. There was also ongoing maintenance work in the building, but even aside from that, my room had a continuous loud buzzing or burning‑type noise throughout the day and night. It made sleeping incredibly difficult. I reported this to management, but nothing was resolved during the entire duration of my stay. Another major frustration was the centrally controlled temperature. I wasn’t able to adjust the heating or cooling in my own room, which meant I couldn’t get comfortable at night and struggled to sleep properly. Breakfast was another disappointment. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, you’ll struggle — the options were extremely limited, essentially just cereals and a few cut vegetables that didn’t look particularly appealing. Overall, despite the refurbishment, the lack of comfort, unresolved maintenance issues, and poor breakfast options made this a very underwhelming stay. I hope the hotel addresses these problems for future guests."

"Hotel was ideally central. Beautifully bright and airy. Beds super comfortable. Breakfast worth every euro . Highly recommend staying here. Young man in the hotel bar, think his name was Vud, was delightful , always smiling, friendly and enthusiastic , he will go far in hospitality."

"Out of city, 15 mins/€1.50 by bus (directly opposite hotel) large retail centre next door. Great views of mountains. Car parking €15 per night. Breakfast expensive for limited buffet options. Rooms large and spacious with excellent amenities"

"We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel Ljubljana Park. The reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great; good choice of breakfast foods. 😀 Our room was basic but very clean and modern; very comfortable. 😀 Loved the bee hives and outdoor seating at the top of the hotel. 😀 The hotel was just a short walk away from the castle and other attractions. 😀 Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel.😀"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and always on hand. The bed was comfortable & well presented. Whilst the breakfast was tasty, due to how it is served could take some take to order and wait for it to be cooked. Something to factor in if you short on time in the morning. The towels in the room are also rather small and thin so they don’t feel very premium but maybe that’s me being picky. The big one really is other guests allowing their room doors to slam at all hours which made our room shake and disturbed us. Maybe soft closing door hinges could help. Also the ongoing building work next door is nowhere near completion so good luck sleeping in any time after 7am due to the noise. A shame about this but I appreciate it’s something outside of the hotel’s control but if we had know this before booking then I would not have booked to stay here."
