"Property is well located, clean comfortable rooms with one big caveat. That caveat is a big one DO NOT GET A ROOM ON THE CITY SIDE. The hotel is a stone’s throw from a rail road yard. Our one night ( thank goodness) was on the railroad road side and it disturbed our sleep throughout the night. Clanging bells, rumbling diesel locomotives were frequent through out the night. Add on the base rumblings from the music playing at the shark club attached to the hotel and needless to say we left the hotel bleary eyed. I mentioned our rough night to the front desk clerk at checkout and he was sympathetic. I’m sure they get the same feedback from many a guest. I spoke a person on the elevator that told me when they booked a reservation it was recommended they spend a little extra to get the quiet side of the hotel. If we do come to Kamloops again that’s what we will do."

"Good hotel at a fair price. We stayed one Sunday night, arriving about 16:30. Reception was friendly and quick. We had a third floor room with 2 doubles, city view. It was nicely appointed but missing a desk chair. When I phoned the front desk, she noted it but queried if I wanted one. I said yes (as it provides the only seat in the room). Kinda felt like I was imposing on housekeeping to get me one?! The bathroom had no tub, but a first class shower stall. The beds were very comfy. The room temperature control of the under- window air con unit worked very well. The unit wasn't too noisy, as some can be. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Check out was seamless. We recommend this hotel for a good stay in Kamloops."

"Exactly as advertised and matches or slightly exceeds pricepoint expectations! Not intended to be luxurious but felt well maintained and clean! The continental breakfast was modest and simple but for the price point was decent enough. Had affiliate Indian restaurant right next door that was good. Hotel had limited amenities save for outdoor pool but due to weather was not opened yet but all consistent with price point. Great option for people looking for cost-effective options and no need for frills. Lastly, the staff were pleasant and courteous. In fact the two gentlemen that helped us were excellent!"
