    "Perfect stay. Nice looking from the outside, on a quiet street across from a small supermarket. Check in was quick and friendly with water and juice available. The room was clean and more spacious than I expected. Our teen and tween stayed comfortably in the bunk beds. Laundry detergent was available by the check in desk free of charge and the washer dryer in the room worked really well, way better than any I’ve seen before in Japan. Our clothes were actually dry at the end of the cycle..."

    "This was our first time staying in Ueno and our first time staying at a Monday hotel. We were a family of 7 (booked 2 separate rooms) and we loved our stay! Everything about it - the front desk staff, the room itself, housekeeping, closeness to train station, shopping, etc. - was amazing! Unfortunately our flight got cancelled/delayed 2 days due to Typhoon Jangmi, but the staff were able to help accommodate us for those 2 extra nights, which was really nice.
