"This is an older building that has clearly been updated. The interior decor is minimalistic and neutral, and the grounds are neat, well kept, and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and we opted for a bedroom unit, which gave us some added privacy. The semi-private beach access was a major plus for us. We really enjoyed being able to head down to the beachfront at the end of the day, or go out first thing in the morning. A few things on my wish list: I would have appreciated more information in the room about the property and available amenities. I understand the spa may be separate, but I was curious about it, and after our stay it still feels like a bit of a mystery. Some in-room literature or a simple welcome guide would have been helpful, especially for guests on a busy schedule. Second, I would strongly suggest adding privacy sheers or something similar to the windows. The room felt very dark with the curtains closed, but quite exposed when they were open, even though I realize people outside may not have been able to see in as much as it felt like they could. Sheers would allow guests to enjoy natural light while still feeling comfortable and private. Lastly, the parking lot was tight and currently seemed unmarked or unassigned. It was a bit confusing when we arrived and were not quite sure where to park. There also appear to be some guest discounts in the area, such as for boat rentals, but these were not well advertised. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
